Ultra4 Racing 4600 class explained

Ultra4 off road racing is an international motorsport series characterized by four wheel drive machines competing on race courses consisting of dirt and rocks and the annual King of The Hammers event held every January in Johnson Valley California. With five different classes each with distinct rules specifications, the allowed modifications can be difficult to observe. Wanting to slowly convert my 4runner to a 4600 racer. But, I'm wondering about the races... are they speed like a Baja 1000? Or is it more of a slow race like with crawling? - I like Speeed :)

They are as fast as you can take a 4600 build. If you wanna hit the whoops at 120, go for it.

What if you had a custom frame that had a portion that was the same size and shape as the original? IE your factory frame was rusting, so you bought some 2x4 rectangle tubing and remade it.
