Playing with the Spheres of Magic in Mage the Ascension is like testing out an atomic bomb- it's dangerous, its deadly, and it's VERY unsafe...but good god is the explosion glorious.
Year 16 or 17 in our mage the ascencion chronicle. Our Dream Speaker found the owner of one magical dagger they found 8 years earlier from dream of one mages Quiet. He retrieved the dagger from safehouse treasure vault. Went to that Quiet dream. Transmuted that dagger from matter into a dream memory. And returned it to its original owner. Later the owner gifted him with magic potion that maybe made him Ascend.
@@TerrilliumV I think you hit an untapped goldmine with Mage the Ascension- it doesn't have as much publicity as its more famous cousin's, Vampire the Masquerade, Werewolf, or even Hunter. But the idea of being able to bend reality with simply your will is a thought so many would find tantalizing.
With high enough levels In spirit you can trap spirits in inanimate objects, and use their powers. The objects are called "fetishes" Though, the spirits tend to get pissed when you shove them in a dusty box so it's not always wise. Though, it can be incredibly potent, in a pinch
