I know... I'm late in the game- but I absolutely LOVE this!! Since I started watching videos close to a year ago, I saw so many great artists create fantastic pieces. But you, Cathleen , have created things I have thought about and wondered how they would turn out. All of them, Beautifully!!! Each time I see someone's "technique" I wonder how to change it up and make it different (not better, don't get me wrong.). And that's what you do! AWESOME!!! You have lead me to love colors I have never loved before and to try things I never thought I'd try. You are awe-inspiring and amazing! You have changed my world and love you for it!!

Really nice technique...I imagine you will do a lot with this idea. I think I'll give it a go and maybe add some gold and copper leaf to it. Can't wait to see when you catch the bling bug😁. It's so addictive! I did a piece with these same colors and added in the places you usually noodle some fine black, chocolate and copper glitter. It looks really cool and not frilly...I like frilly too😄. Beautiful painting!💎💎💎💎💎

I like this new technique! Also, I noticed the swiping from the top and bottom in addition to swipes starting in the middle. I had not noticed that before. I can hardly wait to get to my painting table!!!🙂

Always thought this might be possible. I'm sure this one dried well and the "heavy metals" are looking great! A 16 oz bottle of Golden? Serious stuff! I love the iridescent pearl you recommended. I simply must get some big bottles of Golden fluid acrylics! Lovely work my no-need-for-a-bib crab eating friend!

I really love this one, Cathleen! I appreciate that your center swipe line is not “perfect” which brings a nice dimension. Also, this is my first look at the iridescent gold bright; it’s got wow factor for sure.

It’s beautiful ❤️. Your essentially painting on the canvas but instead of using a paint brush your using a wet paper towel. I think for the swipe it works better. You have more control of the composition and the colours are also more vibrant❤️

I really like this, would be interesting to see the same colours on a flooded canvas to see what the difference is. Which do you prefer Cathleen a flooded canvas or a slightly moist one? I think I'll have to give this a go. Thank you so much for sharing with us and giving us something different to try.
Hello Gillian. That’s the first time for me with the moist canvas. I found I had more control, but the control was limited. When the canvas is flooded, I can swipe all over the darn place. I hope that makes sense. 😜 give it a try and you will see what I mean 😊 have fun with it Gillian

Hello Lora. Yes there is a paint mixing video. It’s down a bit. I’m unable to post the link for you. No I do not use silicone in my paints. The cells are caused by the different paint density’s. There’s a video as well on that. It’s called “ How to get mega cells with no silicone 🤔🤔😊😊🎨🎨
