Just bought one after watching no more than 60 seconds of your video. I'm so easily influenced and love Dunlop - currently have 3 x CX200 Tour 16x19 frames in my Dunlop bag, and always wear my Dunlop thong while playing. Oh the humanity!
I’m in your situation..! Currently playing with a couple of cx200 tour 16x19 and looking for something more “permissive” in terms of sweet spot, as I’m re-starting participating tournaments..What do you think about this sx300 tour??
@@Fra10981 I ended up buying 2 of the SX300 Tour frames and 2 of the new Yonex VCORE PRO 97D 18x20 frames. I use the 97D when playing with more advanced players who hit/serve very hard; and the SX300 Tour in cases where I'm feeding or hitting a lot of balls with lower level (4.0 and below, or 4.5 players who just don't hit very hard) and don't need as much control. My CX200 Tour frames have fallen in between these two use cases so I just don't use them any more. (I could try to weight up the CX200 Tour frames to resemble the 97D, but that's just too much trouble and drama for me. And probably wouldn't work. The 97D is ready to go, out of the box.)
@@jonathanchen1026 hard for me to make comparisons outside of something like the new vcore pro 97d (which is a 18x20, so apples and oranges on that and many other levels) - but yes, they do seem to break faster. with nrg2 17g, i get about 20 hours from my 97d and about half that with the dunlop.
Thanks just picked up two; one for me and one for a friend; even though the new one is coming out; after hitting with this one; I loved it! Currently using older CX 200 and Dunlop 300g's. Also tried the CX400 and new CX200 both of those are great frames but especially the CX400 for doubles.
thanks for checking specs. You think they would a least use a different color than Babolat when copying their spin racquet but i guess yellow means spin. lol Like the more control from the 98sq.in. seems to be similar to the pure aero vs but possibly better.
Interested in seeing how you like the frame Monfils is using. I saw the other Artengo videos. Sounds like his racquet will be available later this year.
Currently playing the Pure Aero Tour and searching for extra control. I might have to add some weight, but I am used to customizing rackets. Initially wanted to switch to Yonex, but I guess I will try them all :D
@tennis spin. have you noticed that most 98 have a narrower racket head than their 100 counterparts, with Ezone 98 being an exception. Ezone 98 is about the same width as Ezone 100 but shorter, that is, Ezone 98 racket head looks rounder. How would these two designs (narrower vs shorter racket head) play differently?
This is cool. I use the CX 200 Tour right now and am looking for a racquet that can generate more easy spin. CX is awesome for control and feel though. Great on flat serves.
Curious how this 2022 version stacks up against the previous generation SX 300 Tour (which I just bought). I did note that the previous generation was rated at 100 sq in, whereas you say this is 98.
Hi Coach, Thanks for the great racket review for the SX300 tour. I am actually considering buying this racket too but still comparing it to the new Head Boom Pro. Have you tested the Head Bppm Pro or can give your feedback? I am looking at the power/spin racket profile and I think the two are close in the specs. Also control would be a key thing in the comparison. Thank you Edy
I tried both, and the SX300 appears to have more stability and power than the ET. The ET also felt a bit hollow to me, probably because it is more head light. Both produce a great amount of spin if you have the right technique. I felt more connected to the SX300 as well. The ET probably has more control but I didn't like the feel of it personally. Good luck with your search!
Where do you get your specs from? You show specs before measuring this racquet in this video and I don’t think I’ve ever seen your Prince RDC machine measure stiffness.
how would you compare the spin potential compared to the aero pro drive? what about the string pattern in the center? Is it as open as it is on the pure aero or more dense as it is on the aeropro drive? Is the launch anlge as high as it is on the pure aero?
I currently have x3 Biomimetic F3.0 Tours with leather grip from 2015. They're also 98 sq in but 18x20. After seeing your review, I my have to give this a try! How does this racquet compare to the Pure Aero VS? Thanks.
Interesting racquet! Unfortunately, I've really gotten used to the rectangular-like Head-type handles and don't much like the more roundish Dunlop handles. I did like the feel of those old 200G's though...
You could just treat them like wine reviews - high levels of real and imaginary expertise, ultimately trying to sell product, highly subjective and personal; and most would flunk a blind test by giving the exact same racket different ratings on different weeks. All good my friend. Keep watching and clicking those like buttons!
I just play it for the first time today and already I have some victims - ruclips.net/video/ylHPsibqi7Q/видео.html Full set length: ruclips.net/video/KgqtVeexT7c/видео.html
All I can say it's that it's better than Babolat Pure Drive - More control and more feel! Played it with full bed of Dunlop Explosive Speed and also a mix: Tecnifibre Razor Code (mains) + Dunlop Iconic Touch (cross) - Everything was that awesome! Good luck!
Well he talks about about contenders for the title, the best 98 racquet of 2022. Were still in January so they'll hardly crown the winner before December. 🙂

received in the mail from Tennis Warehouse today and hit with it tonight - it's a keeper! bought another identical one this evening.

Does the strings break easily on this racket?

Dunlop has an amazing program right now. Just demoing the SX200 and I am super happy with that one too 👍💪🎾!

Yellow means spin, blue means power, black means "Gee, I don't care about what it looks like at all, as long as it is expensive! "

Got one on a trade and not sure if ill switch but i really like it. Really nice feel on volleys and i sliced well with it.
Nice keep it up tennis spin👍☺️

the specs on his little board were the advertised specs. They are the same specs on TW. He only checked static weight, sw , and balance for himself.

I got the 3.0 from like 2 gens ago with the same indents for like $80. Bomb racquets!!!

How does it compare to the Clash 98?
The Dunlop pure aero
I like your Nike sweater that matches the racket.

Love it for OHBH
How would you rate , compare it with new 98 Ezone 2022 ? I thought that (98 ezone 2022) was the racket of the year !!
You guys are a big influence on deciding on tennis gear. This racket could be magical with a great Hybrid setup.
Hey Tennis Point, can you make a Video Abluft the new Angell Costum V4
Is this racket good for intermediate players?
These reviews all sound the same…” great power, spin, and feel. Blah blah blah”
they like everything ....cos they wanna sell everything
It could be more interesting if they compare with other racquets
@@DanTuber true that!
@@DanTuber have you ever saw one of their videos where they DIDN'T like the racket??? LOL!

How's it compare to Yonex Regna 98?
Nothing compares to the Regna 98
is this an arm-friendly racquet?
"Surprised" again.
COURT ZOOM NXT REVIEW?!?!!
Racket of the year wasn’t ezone 98? Thought that’s what you say
Well he talks about about contenders for the title, the best 98 racquet of 2022. Were still in January so they'll hardly crown the winner before December. 🙂
Лучшая ракетка 2022 будет HEAD BOOM PRO!! И это уже понятно ,исходя из того что у твоего СХ300T жесткость RA66!!🤣🌺🤣
Someone copies Pure Aero?
Oh, big time
Has anyone hit with 600
looks like a babolat frame.
Comparing it to the Pure Aeros this one is more stable.
UNO
Lets stop using the phrase ' access to spin. ' It sounds pretentious. Spin is generated with technique and strings.
Hence the term “access”
