Annemarie .... which of your medical books contains information on that? You are a nurse anesthesiologist, and the medical books you would have used studying for your profession would not talk about patients with esophagus strictures. Did you know it's well discussed on the internet = even the Mayo Clinic has tons of information. Perhaps you could consult Tiffany Moon on this - she's already covered it and put you in your place for your shitty behaviour. I know this is real, both my mom (bless her soul) and my brother have it and it was scary as a kid and teenager watching my mom go through episodes.
