Why can't a person just say they stopped having alcoholic beverages because of lifestyle choice rather than say they been Sober for whatever length of time. Your guest nailed it, Sober is used for a person who is clinically dx. as an Alcoholic and being treated right? However, I'm loving the content and guests, and looking forward to more of your videos in 2024! And Melissa, being that you were in the reality world, has anyone in Hollywood ever approached you to do any reality shows? And would you consider directing or acting in any capacity in the future? See… that’s it… it’s all about the terminology. I haven’t had a drink in over a month, but I’m neither sober nor an alcoholic. And I think that’s how Kyle is… who cares if she’s having a cocktail or not.
Anyone can refer to themselves as a sober person without having to go through anything formal to get sober. Being a clean person, or someone who just chooses not to use any mood altering substance is, by definition, sober.
Someone can also have an accountability partner to help them stay away from drinking or using a drug to get high.

It makes me laugh so hard when people say, it’s a stunt, it’s a fake storyline for KYLE TO GET ATTENTION? Or RELEVANCY? Like is this for real? First of all that chemistry is unmatched, second of all there are already enough signs and evidence of that relationship’s existence. She is a Hollywood royalty, she comes from a dynastic family, wealth, fame and connections. She has 4+ millions of followers and they own one of the biggest real estate companies globally. It’s been an interesting season of RHOBH. The storyline’s have all tried to be different. Cast back to this time last year, the show was highly questioned about ethical scandal. The show is doing a major PR revamp and trying to give viewers more wholesome drama. Kyle is playing the game as she did not like how it ended last year, it placed major strain on her most valuable relationship with her sister. This is all in response to the events of last year with RHOBH.

IMO, Kyle needed support and was not getting it . Kyle stopped drinking, started losing weight, and her longtime best friend committed suicide all within a relatively short amount of time. Morgan spent more time with K than anyone else and gave her the care she needed. I think that when K starts feeling better emotionally the friendship may “cool off “ some. Or not.
Yes this makes sense! And she said at the table during that awkward pot dinner that drinking made her feel depressed. That is the typical alcohol 2 edged sword that has been the downfall of many; it makes you feel better temporarily and cuts the pain in the immediate term but next morning you feel worse....but the cycle continues. Good on her for breaking the cycle which isn't easy to do when you are depressed. Her best friend taking her life, that alone would be massive. And then who knows the intricacies of what was happening with Mauricio as he was thriving with his business and didn't give her what she needed during that time and probably felt alone.
