This is why I always make sure I follow everyone’s socials just during the airing of a new season, because that is the only way to know what actually happened during conversations, arguments, etc., because production cuts out SO much that the entire context is completely altered, people’s roles in the drama can be edited to make it seem like they played a MUCH bigger part, or they actually WERE a big part of something & they get completely cut because they want someone else to continue to look like the bad guy, etc. They’ve done this in a major way with the edits on VPR too, and it COMPLETELY altered the public’s perception about Katie & Lala for years; thankfully through their podcasts and great interviews, people have been able to see the people they really are & not what production decided to lean into & intentionally manipulate because they thought it was the popular opinion or narrative of some viewers.

This is why I always make sure I follow everyone’s socials just during the airing of a new season, because that is the only way to know what actually happened during conversations, arguments, etc., because production cuts out SO much that the entire context is completely altered, people’s roles in the drama can be edited to make it seem like they played a MUCH bigger part, or they actually WERE a big part of something & they get completely cut because they want someone else to continue to look like the bad guy, etc.
They’ve done this in a major way with the edits on VPR too, and it COMPLETELY altered the public’s perception about Katie & Lala for years; thankfully through their podcasts and great interviews, people have been able to see the people they really are & not what production decided to lean into & intentionally manipulate because they thought it was the popular opinion or narrative of some viewers.
