    Posting the fuel tank capacity is one additional detail to make the "Weight With Full Fuel" comparison valid. For all we know, they are only heavier or lighter because of that fuel!

    Great you are assessing a Beta, the 390 is the most versatile in their range. I have a Beta 480 RR 2017 , it now has 8250 kms on it and 156 hrs, being used as an adventure bike, 15 litre tank, Golden Tyre GT201s, Seat Concepts comfort seat. Very happy with the bike and now issues what so ever! Trust you will love the 390! Keep winning!

    And so do we!!

    I rode one for a little in Nova Scotia and let my buddy try out my 2011 Berg 390. Has awesome pull and awesome suspension. Felt lighter than my berg, but the berg seemed to have a little more pull, which can be back to tire traction really.

    I have 2011 400rr its power is perfect. It pulls all day long and its torquy as all get out. She's a large girl though. I would bet she's pushing 270. But even still it can do a lot of the tight tech stuff I like. Its planted at speed and its flickable going slow. I wonder if the the 390 is the same. Great videos Kyle. I can't wait to see you future videos on the 390.

    I've got a 2017 beta 390 and love it. So easy to ride. Mine comes with a kick start. It's useless because there is no decompression button which makes it impossible to kick start. I wouldn't worry about the kick-start Kyle.

  • @spymaine89

    When the Beta gets low in the stroke it’s handing really suffers and it high, it becomes unstable. The KTM either packs or blows through the stroke if the ride height is off. Picky riders will spend more time making changes to the KTM’s PDS shock for changing conditions compared to the linkage system on the Beta.

    @lancesteinberg9451 5 лет назад

    I went to a Beat Demo days when they came through MO last weekend. Great power on the 390 but lots of engine braking and didn't like that because i ride 2t's. Its a 350 stroker motor to get to 390, same piston as there 350, is why i believe it had so much more engine braking compared to the 430 or 350. The 350 and 430 had minimal engine braking and great linear power, both my preference for that sol reasoning.

      I'm not an expert, but i did try the 390 racing edition MY 2019 in a beta demo day. The racing edition has 2 injectors which improves the mid and top end power. I tell you this is a beast, it has as much torque as my wr450f which is very torquey, but a lot lighter and better suspension.

    Weighting the bikes with a full tank of gas say more about the size of the tank than the actual weight of the bike, which make weight comparaison between bikes very difficult. Probably too late to change that but they all should be weighted with the same quantity of gas to make a fair comparaison. And obviously, most of the time we spend on a bike is not with a full tank...

    • @ndrsvlog9697
      @ndrsvlog9697 5 лет назад

      Not to hard to figure out what that weight is, just subtract the amount of gas times the weight of gas (6.3lbs/gallon). This bike holds 2 gallons of gas according to Beta's website, so the dry weight would be 259-(2*6.3)=236.4lbs
