100% agree with the work schedule. We provide a service. So we need to be there for the customers at any time. It shows them we really care, and shows the value of your company.
As a consultant who has been trying to build up the local roofing community, I've worked with and interviewed literally hundreds if not thousands of roofing companies, and never heard of a single one that outsourced web or telemarketing and made a profit off that marketing (unless you want to count home advisor, which is different). The after hours thing is real though. I more than doubled my rate of closing just by changing my hours to do late nights and weekends.
