I have been following multiple sneaker channels for a while just for the sake of it and by far this guy is the most entertaining of all....he is just so pretentious with his voice and camera angle etc to a point that it is hilarious LMAO
Would LOVE to have a pair of these, but I don't pay over resale, so I may miss out. Also, skateboarders were skating in Jordan 1s decades before "Nike SB" ever existed, so SB Jordan 1s makes more sense then you may have known.

I will be picking these up. These remind me of the arguments and fights my brother and I used to get into when we were kids. He was a Lakers fan, I’m a Bulls fan and when they clashed in the finals it was on!
This is a shoe you need to put through the 30 day-45 day test and see how they look when they have been put through the paces! This is the perfect show for that!

If Nike really wanted people to wear these out, then they would make them GR, but they won't and so the vast majority will be locked up in container boxes and not scratched at all. Same problem as the Lance Mountains.
Personally, if I can get a pair, I would get rid of all the yellow. Then let the purple fade naturally. These would then be my retro Raptor grails.

Why do these look so nice? If someone told me they were making a lakers colorway jordan 1s, I wouldn’t think it’d look as good as this. But for some reason the purple and the yellow and that red on the side of the leather all match so well.

I like them bringing this hidden colorway thing back. I don't like them on the pink pair, but this pair is nice. I liked the lance mountains a lot too. Just the idea that you get one of the goat colorways, the grail of grails, but the catch is you gotta WEAR THEM to reveal it. And when you do its never the same from pair to pair, thats awesome.

These are VERY much on my radar, I just wore my White Lance Mountains last week and would love to put these next to them. May has some fire, but this one is probably my most anticipated.

I dig these. However, the Lance Mountain joints did this concept much better imo. My black pair is still one of my favs.

I love these !! But I know with my luck , no skate shops near me that carry SB and I never ever hit in the sneakers app . These will not hit my closet . If StockX prices hit at 300-350 I’ll pick up . But if it stays at Union LA prices . Can’t do it 🤕

This shoe is gonna change the game. I expect nike to do this to other silhouettes because it almost automatically means double up. One to keep L.A. colors one to change to Chicago colors. Some might buy 4 pair just to keep 2 DS on both colorways

Even if you DO skate, the Lance Mountain set didn't all the way strip lol. You'll fuck around and work a hole into the upper before you get your black-sole Chicagos unless they changed the type of top coat paint.

You simply need to sand the upper with some fine grit paper and you’ll see the colors.
@@matthewkrellwitz8973 Yeah, I should've been more specific. Sandpaper, acetone/nail polish remover, 50+% isopropyl alcohol, and Mr. Clean Erasers will take it right off if you're deliberately trying to get to the other colorway.

I always said I’d buy myself of grails for my 23rd bday. At the momentI can’t afford most of the Jordan grails that I have bc I’m still in school, but lance mountains are one of my favorites so I’m stoked these come out just after my bday. Really hope I can hit for retail!🙏
And the greater thing about the SB crossover is the insole, which was one of the first iterations of a gel insole.
These will be more comfortable than a normal Jordan 1.
