If you wear these when it’s cold, you’ll regret sizing down if you like to wear thick socks like Stance or some Nike socks. The thick socks will help keep your feet warm should you wear these when it’s cold.

He’s really not exaggerating with how comfortable the off white 5’s are. The fact that there’s really no padding around the ankle makes it so comfy to wear and super easy to put on. I found the perfect lacing adjustment where I can just slip them on without having to untie the shoe.
I find it weird that a lot of people think it's more comfortable without the padding in the collar and tongue... Idk man I'm old school and the metallic 5s I used to have back in the day was my most comfortable kick because of the padding... Once I found out the padding was nonexistent in the OF5s I wasn't that upset that I didn't win the draw lol, especially with most people saying to go down half a size cause of the lack of padding lol...I woulda been tight if I found that out on my own...
I'm with @Vekks.blackman 5s are supposed to be padded. I'm not about a no liner 5 throwing off the comfort they usually have stock let alone the fit of em. Too stripped down and swiss cheesed for my needs.
okay, so I finnnnally got my pair of Off-white 5s in. I tried them on, and I have to say......your comment on going down half a size is a very slippery slope. It ended up being JUST right for me, but I want to add some thoughts for anyone considering it: I wear a 10.5 in most shoes, so I Went for a size 10 on the off-whites, on your recommendation. I found that they fit really snug in the sides and front of the shoe, moreso than the 10.5 grapes. They had about a fingertip's worth of room in the front of the toebox, which I think is about right The one thing I Want to caution about though is, it's mentioned in the video that you should order a half size down from your normal jordan 5 size...I think that's dangerous specifically because Jordan 5s seem to run about a half size too big. So if somebody goes down a half size for jordan 5s, they're now wearing a 10. If they follow the advice to go down a half size from *those* for the off-white, they're at 9.5 All I'm saying is, I couldn't have fit a 9.5. These are very snug, actually, to the point where I think its a PERFECT fit, so I want to thank you for you recommendation to go .5 down. I just think its extremely important that I throw my 2 cents in, because sizing down on an $800 shoe is a nerve-wracking thing to do! tl;dr: you should go a half size down for the off-white 5s....but that should not be an ADDITIONAL half size down from the half size down you might already be doing for jordans (if you don't like looser fit)

Droppin’ in to say this: although I’m not as much of a sneakerhead as I was in my youth (38 now), I still appreciate having multiple pairs of great shoes. I’m only around 10 pairs or so, some are 3 years old or more and still look brand new cause I’m straight OCD about the cleanliness of my kix. I think a great outfit with dirty shoes looks terrible, but a terrible outfit with great shoes can be done. Anyway, all rambling aside, really like this dude, the channel, and the personality and passion behind the videos...on my list for sure...DMP 6’s, the Infrareds (my grail), and the Undefeated 90’s that just dropped. Wore my pair every other day until quarantine hit then they've been sitting on the shelf cuz I haven't been out, but I can definitely agree these are absolute tanks. It's funny cuz a lot of early reviews from people said they thought they'd get messed up easily and felt fragile, but they're pretty much bombproof and don't even crease that bad. Only thing I noticed is the 3M on the tongue can stain/scratch pretty easy, but I feel like that's just 3M for ya. FWIW, I went TTS with wide feet and they fit pretty well but I throw a pretty thick lunarlon insole in em. They'd be mad loose with the stock insole.

@@GankTown they get away with it because they are not a authorized retailer so it doesn't matter if they claim the shoe is legit or not. Nike or any other brand doesn't acknowledge them so if they sell you a non retail shoe you knowingly went on there website to purchase third party, so legally it's nothing you can do because Nike will never authenticate that you got a fake. And there is no such thing as a authenticator because there are no guidelines or certification behind the title.
Haven't cut the holes out but I wear mine in a rotation. I didn't cut the holes out because I was worried about dirt and rain. With that plastic covering I can see this as a good shoe to wear in the rain. So far I'm glad I kept them and didn't resell. I wouldn't say it's my favorite pair but I'm enjoying them.
Used to be my beater, they don't really hold up that long. 6/10 for durability and the boost isn't as good as ub. The more you wear it the more it gets to the point uncomfortable comfort. Hope it helps

Easily one of the best Off Whites! I paid resell for these too and do not regret. The main issue with the OG off whites is they all turn yellow and look TERRIBLE after only a few wears. Love that this is a black/grey shoe and you can wear the fuck outta these and they still look amazing! Awesome update video..Keep em coming!
I cut the holes out except for the hole with the branding, and these are fire. Ive worn them alot and the webbing/netting is very protective. Im glad Virgil put it on them because they are so much its noce to know that if i wear them they arent going to be ruined. I cant wait till the sail version comes out, itll be perfect for summer. Me too I don't really like 5s but I want one pair in the collection. In all honesty I like the fire reds more but these are a statement piece. Think I'd still take the fire reds over these aesthetically but the off-whites seem like a better shoe fit wise.

Haoyu Zheng TTS for me. Usually wear sz 11 for pretty much all Jordan’s and that was perfect size for these 5’s.

@@GankTown they get away with it because they are not a authorized retailer so it doesn't matter if they claim the shoe is legit or not. Nike or any other brand doesn't acknowledge them so if they sell you a non retail shoe you knowingly went on there website to purchase third party, so legally it's nothing you can do because Nike will never authenticate that you got a fake. And there is no such thing as a authenticator because there are no guidelines or certification behind the title.
Still waiting on my pair to come in but easily my favorite Off-White sneaker, just because the Metallic 5 is my favorite Jordan sneaker ever.
Haven't cut the holes out but I wear mine in a rotation. I didn't cut the holes out because I was worried about dirt and rain. With that plastic covering I can see this as a good shoe to wear in the rain. So far I'm glad I kept them and didn't resell. I wouldn't say it's my favorite pair but I'm enjoying them.

Used to be my beater, they don't really hold up that long. 6/10 for durability and the boost isn't as good as ub. The more you wear it the more it gets to the point uncomfortable comfort. Hope it helps

That's why if I can't get a pair on release I just buy reps. I said it once and I'll keep on saying it. I hate sneaker resellers and how they drive up the price of a shoe that costs less than the MSRP to make. But these dumb asses still pay it.

Easily one of the best Off Whites! I paid resell for these too and do not regret. The main issue with the OG off whites is they all turn yellow and look TERRIBLE after only a few wears. Love that this is a black/grey shoe and you can wear the fuck outta these and they still look amazing! Awesome update video..Keep em coming!

I cut the holes out except for the hole with the branding, and these are fire. Ive worn them alot and the webbing/netting is very protective. Im glad Virgil put it on them because they are so much its noce to know that if i wear them they arent going to be ruined. I cant wait till the sail version comes out, itll be perfect for summer. Does anybody gotta official or non official release date on the sail version?

Me too I don't really like 5s but I want one pair in the collection. In all honesty I like the fire reds more but these are a statement piece. Think I'd still take the fire reds over these aesthetically but the off-whites seem like a better shoe fit wise.
They actually hold up pretty good not like the Jordan 1 with bad crease on the toe box after couple of wear
