Wow china is such a beautiful country, wish I had born in China, it is safe and beautiful for living. India's corrupt politicians destroyed India's future. Respect to chinese from fellow Indian 🙏

It seems a little bit chaotic from an architectural point of view. The house's styles lacks refinement its very sort of industrial looking. I guess if Chinese millionnaires like this, good for them
The lakeside views are uniquely the best in a big city like Nanjing. I'd prefer the lotus lake without that huge lotus seeds statue. The statues at 7:42 and 9:03 are not so splendid, either.
Beautiful area indeed. The big houses used to belong to officials that you said, which I trust you didn't mean the officials of the People's Republic but rather ancient China. Love your videos and thanks for posting.
Thank you very much Peter 🙂👍 I’m not sure which officials, maybe somebody in the comments will know more about that community, I think it must be fairly well known.
China seems to be years behind in modern architecture design. Simply imitating the western styles does not work well 9:04. Lack of coherent community design is another problem 7:28. A modern design with Chinese elements 0:16 is not easy. I.M. Pei's Suzhou Museum is an interesting attempt in that direction. ruclips.net/video/z0dXwHhvskA/видео.html
Also, it depends on cities, for example Shanghai you can do a search on old villas built around 2000 in Hongqiao district and they have really great houses and nice architecture.
Thank you for your very interesting comment. I agree the architecture on these houses looks a little outdated / out of place but I would guess they were built 20+ years ago. I’ll be filming many other different styles of buildings and communities over the next few weeks, some which are much more modern and some much older. The Suzhou museum looks great, I like the shadows on the wall created by the skylight in the corridor.
Thanks for sharing that info @babyAli L Yeah, these definitely aren’t an example of modern architecture here, there are some very cool looking buildings around that I hope to film soon!
@@middlekingdomproductions thanks for your videos, hope to see more varieties of housing, living and communities in Nanjing (old and new). It’s nice that you showed some of the earliest housing development in this video, as 25 years for China… shows the improvement in architecture and urban planning that they have today. Another thing I’ve noticed are the interior design, 20 years compare to now, it’s a huge difference too.
Lovely It must be...Will Keep Watching your drone views.......keep doing what you do. ✍️✨. Thanks

These are built back in 1999/2000. Today the new villas, apartments, townhouses and mansions are very modern and nice
