Much as I admire Depp as an actor in other earlier work, I honestly think the Jack Sparrow character has invaded too many of his other characters. As Barnabas, he carries forward too many inflections; speech patterns etc of Sparrow and for me it ruins this character as it makes it harder to take seriously and see as different. It's getting annoying now.
@Lord Voldemort Pretty rich, considering that it took you eight films, 9 tries and one near-success failing horribly at killing ONE BLOODY IDIOT, killing a large number of other schmucks, including the pettiest ass in the entire series (looking at you, Snape).
