It was fun watching this. I used to work at Disney and my girlfriend worked at the Floridian back when it was first opened. I remember when the beach boys made their Kokomo video there. My favorite part of the video was seeing the nighttime electric parade on the water. So glad to see they still do that. I have not seen in it in 30 years!
There is just something magical about this resort for me. Every time I go there I feel like a kid again.
Watching all your resort tour videos and I have to thank you for spending your time actually at the resorts! Too many Disney RUclipsrs split their videos between the resorts and going to the parks! I love that you show us what the resorts are really like…great times! Thanks!
I love that you check the shower head and water pressure, and the hair dryer. I have not seen any other vlogger do that with their room tours. Those things are important!!!!!
I'm originally from San Diego. This resort was made to look like the hotel del Coronado. The interior is more modern. I love the elegant touches

Probably the only place I wouldn’t mind being woken up early. I’d have coffee on the deck and look out on the lake. Oh how I miss Disney-it’s been too long.
Around 2001-2002 my husband and I had annual Florida Resident passes and spent as much time at the Disney World parks as we could. One of our favorite places to hang out was the Grand Floridian Hotel. We enjoyed dining there, walking the premises, and listening to the person playing the piano. It was a dream of ours to stay there one day. In 2003 we moved to Utah and then to Kentucky and haven't been back to Florida since visiting in 2005. Now we both can't travel anymore and spend a lot of time surfing RUclips. Thank you SO much for sharing this video. We felt like we were right there also.
I can not tell you how special this was to me..I put myself in your shoes...and enjoyed my dream resort threw your eyes...I enjoyed the room tour, the shower looked so decadent, the beds looked so comfy....I enjoyed the food, the piano playing, the parades....and of course the resort itself...The Floridian has always been on my bucket list, a dream among dreams..Thank you so much for letting me come along in the luxury...I loved it..
Love the fact that you seemed a little misty eyed at times and I’m not surprised - it’s a glorious place to stay. Definitely on my wish list and I hope to stay there one day (especially now I know they play The Eagles in the pool) 😊 Total Disney Magic 💫✨😊

Was super happy to see the spotlight on the lobby pianist, he's so wonderful! I love how he takes requests and was can improvise to play virtually anything asked.

The grand means guest requests are never denied. A former cast member stated that at this hotel they will do everything to make you happy during your stay.
Love watching your videos. They have helped so much especially in quarantine. Really like when you and Paging Mr. Morrow team up and work together. You are so positive and excited it really puts me in a good mood watching. Keep up the good work and thank you for bringing some light to this dark time.

I'll always stayed at the GF except for once when I stayed at the Wilderness lodge and hated it. The GF is my WDW Florida home away from home. I always love it. When I first went there the bird house in the lobby had real birds in it and a old lady would take care of them every morning. So cool but over time they never replaced them.
I’m from WI (should’ve been from FL) The hot tubs are a MUST! No chill pls 🤣... give me a heated pool or even better, The HOT tub! Great Vid & great stay! 😎✅🔥

What a great birthday gift for you, AND US! I have done the same thing and NOT gone to the parks and just stayed there to soak it all in too. That is another great part of being local and going often, is that you can slow down and drink in all the details and enjoy different aspects of Disney on multiple trips. You just can't do that on a whirl wind "gotta do everything in one visit" mindset. Congrats on your birthday and thank you for sharing the room tour. I have never seen the DVC suites before. Wow. (We were at the Poly at the same time you were staying there last time)
You should go back & have afternoon tea at the GF if you have never done that. It is such a nice experience.
I have always wanted to do that!! It hasn’t reopened since last March when the parks closed but hopefully it will reopen soon!
I am such an Anglophile & I have been jonesing for England. We went in May 2018 & should have been going back in the Spring--stupid COVID. I stumbled on your England videos & watched the one with Afternoon Tea.

Live the The Grand. Since going to Disney World from 2005, we have stayed at all the resorts. Each one has its own special theme.
Just a little heads up the soap you use at every hotel is actually replaced everyday but the used ones aren't thrown out as they are bagged and sent off to a company to get remelted down into new soap bars that go to poor areas of the globe like Africa or Asia. Its a charity that does this. don't worry the soap is sanitized and everything first before melting it back down. Disney was on board with this since the beginning and all the hotels do this across the world which all end up somewhere in orlando in a warehouse which does the actual work. all the shampoos and whatever are also in that charity too. Universal got on board after disney but whatever. anyway the charity is a good one as they do hand washing lessons and help people stay clean as the area around them tends to not be the most hygienic and helps the people learn to you know keep sickness off themselves. I just forgot the name of this charity though but it's very good one.

The GF is on my To Do list for retort stays!!! The room was absolutely gorgeous. You have to eat at 1900 Park Fare, it is one of my absolute favorites!!!

Btw, you mentioned that you were planning on spending some time back home in Miami and wanted suggestions for places. Are you looking for just parks and recreation or are bars and restaurants on your list. I live in Fort Lauderdale and we have the Funky Buddha Brewery, Bar and restaurant in nearby Oakland Park. Have you heard of it and would you be interested in doing a video, granted they allow it.

Some other vloggers (who are too busy constantly filming their own face & hairy chest and usually being wrong about their scant info)could take some lessons from you.
