@@pedrosequeira9829 That's true! Edited games don't really show just how long the actual games were since the videos are usually less than half an hour long but the game could last anywhere between 1-2hrs. I know the struggle XD
don't unless you aren't playing cedh. This deck is far from Cedh. Like why the hell are they running mox opal with no where near enough artifacts. Also running amber is bad... you shouldn't be casting cazur unless you are fucked. Ukkima shouldn't really get cast either unless ya can protect it. The ninjas are bad, and shouldn't be used. The octopus.. same situation. You should be running actual draw spells, and things like necro, rhystic/mystic, sylvan library. The 2 counter spells he mentioned.... no one runs because they are too situational. I'd say maybe stifle can make a slight argument for it being ran. The other one can't. There aren't enough free casting stuff to make it worth, it's just better to run drown in the loch. So many issues with this deck.. this isn't even cedh.. this is like a slight higher power deck.
I know this is REALLY random but I just watched your thromok deck tech, and I was wondering how his devour worked. Thanks! I thought if you sacrificed 9 creatures, he would get 9 +1+1 counters.
Alright, here's how it works: Thromok's devour is not linear (meaning he doesn't get the same amount of counters as creatures he devoured this way); its devour is squared (meaning he gets X per creature). If you look at the very bottom of its entry in scryfall you can see similar examples. Basically, when Thromok devours a bunch of creatures, it gets an amount of +1/+1 counters equal to the amount of creatures devoured per creature devoured. So, if it devours 3 creatures, EACH CREATURE gives Thromok THREE +1/+1 counters. 3 per creature means 9 counters. If it devours 7 creatures, then EACH CREATURE gives Thromok SEVEN +1/+1 counters. 7 per creature means 49 counters. Hopefully that helps! (The caps lock isn't screaming; I just can't embolden or italicize text in comments.)
That's precisely why I put some backup ninjas in the deck just in case I have some more grindy games. But if you go full mutate/ninja then it can definitely be a pretty interesting brew!
just build a deck with ukkima and cazur myself, not focused around food chain though, instead i chose to build around aluren. comboing with cloudstone curio or with cavern harpy. its a realy fun deck and i would have liked to build it around your ideas, i was to eager i gues :D
Yeah, I think it would go great with a different strategy since this deck is more risky since it's exiling more than it is self-milling. But Titan's Nest is an amazing card for these colors since it basically gives delve to all your spells without an X.
Thank you for the kind words! It was a pleasure to have you on our channel! :) Keep up with the great content too!
Thanks! Will do!
May or may not have wrecked us :v
Thanks a lot for joining for a match! As usual, your insight and dech tecks are impeccable!
Thanks a lot! Lol, yeah, sorry for the speed of game 1. But at least Baal put a stop to my hijinxes in Game 2 :P

Totally gonna use this deck tech to make Ukkima and Cazur!
Thanks! Glad you liked it! Make sure to see it in action over at SplitSecond! The links are in the video and description!

We staaaaaaaan!!!!!!! Commander’s quarters wishes!!!
Thanks! Quarters thrown to the wishing well? XD
These two seem sweet. I really want to build a janky mutate/ninja deck with them to abuse the “leaves the battlefield” ability

Ooh! That sounds like a great way to abuse Ukkima - and on a budget, too!
What do you think about Titan's Nest in this deck? Would it fit better with a different strategy?

Are you gonna do all partner pairs?
Maybe not all of them, but Cazur + Ukkima aren't the only ones ;) Stay tuned!
The Commander Tavern Abzan partners or Death!!!!
@@playernamedjuju8607 Lol, Abzan partners are a good combo for stax and blink. So there is a possibility - no promises, though!
