It's missing a major part of his combo potential: An untap ETB creature + Ashnod's Altar makes infinite mana, which can then be used for infinite tokens of that creature. It also adds value on the second main phase.

Yup! I considered Ashnod's Altar and Phyrexian Altar but when testing, they didn't really work on their own. Especially since there're already ways to go infinite (Kiki-Jiki). That being said, you could definitely swap them in since they help TJBM go infinite with way more engines.

As someone with an Orthion, hero of lavabrink deck when I saw the Jolly balloon man spoiled I was immediately hooked! Glad boros gets a clone commander like this

Just saying, Feldon and Loran of the third path help out a lot. Been waiting for a long time to use the two together for lore purposes but Feldon bringing creature from graveyard, JBM making another copy of it, lets you have some recursion at least. That and using Loran lets you remove enchantments and artifacts.

I think the new card Enduring Innocence would be a good include instead of Symmetry Matrix.

Yeah, I updated the list after having made the video. If you follow the link to the decklist, you'll see that Enduring Innocence was included, as well as multiple ways to make the most of the enter-the-battlefield triggers.

if you play combo, just go for it, add Imperial Recruiter and Ornithopter of Paradise at least

You can definitely add more consistency with tutors and whatnot. But I don't like running tutors so I didn't include them. That being said, tutors are very easy to slot into decks if you like the idea enough.

You can definitely build the deck around ETB pain effects! And add damage multipliers as well as trigger multipliers.

Is this better than Zinnia? that's the question i'm finding myself running into. No blue means no mass bounce, a lot less card draw, and we lose access to really abusing the hell out of Cloudstone Curio. But this guy gives us consistency, haste and other goodies...i'm honestly not sure what to do :(

I'm slotting this into the 99 of Zinnia regardless.
They're 2 different decks. Because Zinnia lets you keep the 1/1 token copy, but you have to pay more for it. Whereas TJBM gives you immediate value. So it depends on whether you want the value now or later.
