Thanks! Glad you enjoy them! Hopefully these spicy brews can make up for those you can't have with our current situation.

Nice! I really liked this deck tech. It's great to see you're still making deck techs from viewer recommendations.

      Thanks!
I still have a couple of more viewer requests that I liked that I want to do. But since there's still more C20 and IKO commanders I'm brewing around, I'll probably get to those delayed requests once I'm done with these.

I’ve been struggling with this deck so much. Thank you.

On the subject of Wheels I was recently playing my Narset Enlightened Master Brawl deck and I was able to get three copies of Heartwarming Redemption from Thousand-year Storm with Niv-Mizzet in play for the win. I could very easily see similar play lines in this deck!

That sounds like a spicy brawl deck!
Yeah, I've very easily chained into a couple of wheels for the win off of Brallin. It plays similar to chaining into wheels with Nekusar. However, it's easier with Brallin than Nekusar because Brallin + Shabraz can run Smothering Tithe. With Nekusar, you have to have Surly Badgersaur to maybe get some treasures - hopefully enough to keep chaining into more wheels. So it is possible, but not as often as Brallin with Smothering Tithe.

This is a really cool deck. I think Shabraz and Brallin are very strong (and I personally like anything Jeskai). Could you do a deck tech for Sevinne focusing on playing spells from the graveyard next?

      Heyo, Count Noalaf!
Thanks! Wheels are one of my favorite archetypes. I have a Nekusar build in real life that I've been catering since I bought his precon in 2013. I haven't made a deck tech episode for him yet because I'm still waiting until I'm able to play with him on The Stage first.
As for Sevinne, I could consider the challenge of building around him. I don't really like Sevinne but maybe a year later more cards have appeared that make him better. There's quite a queue of deck tech requests as well as C20 and IKO commanders I'm still brewing. But I will definitely let you know if/when I make an episode for Sevinne.

@@TheCommanderTavern I'm not really a fan of wheels since thay don't let me plan. If I had to build a wheel deck I would probably go with Xyris or Shabraz and Brallin over Nekusar.
I think Sevinne is just one of those commanders that will age well. We know mechanics like Flashback and hopefully Jump-Start will return. In Theros Beyond Death we got escape which has proved quite useful even though I have to discard cards. I really hope you do a deck tech for him so I can get inspiration for my deck.

    • @TheCommanderTavern

You don't discard cards for escape costs; you exile cards from the graveyard. That might seem like a bad thing since you want to play with your graveyard when running Sevinne. However, you can exile fetchlands and killed creatures to pay for escape costs.

    • @noalindqvist9826

@@TheCommanderTavern I meant exile. Yes, you can exile fetchlands but I don't own them unfortunately. My deck self mills enough to have lands and sometimes even spells to exile away for escape.

What about creatures like Burnished Hart and Solemn Simulacrum that are destined for the graveyard? Or Magus of the Wheel and/or Magus of the Balance? Those are in the graveyard not doing much after they've been used. That helps fuel escape costs.

Really liking this thumbnail along with the other partners you've done (Akiri + Kydele and Tana + Reyhan).
