Oh Rosie! What a stunning final result! Your work is a perfect example of how limitations inspire creativity. The simple, elegant design with so much attention to detail belies the hard work and planning you've put in. Most certainly stop and admire your amazingly gorgeous spaces. The total cost is a tribute and shows how much beauty can be created without spending a fortune. Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful!!

Over the past weeks, I have been watching your videos. After each ,I have only profound respect for what you have achieved.
To rebuild a cottage tucked away in the heart of a dense forest, with nobody to turn to, no budget, no transportation, no resources to fall back on, except yourself...channeling all your energy , focus, mental reserves and a total detachment from all frivolous expenditure, requires singular courage and determination..
.And you proved it. The beautiful transformation left me gasping with wonder.
There were times when I felt scared for you, especially when you hefted heavy planks ....what if you suffered a slipped disc , I thought?
But God be praised. You showed to the world what an amazing person you are.
With self acquired skills , a very structured approach to this challenging project, and immense patience, every space in that home has been intelligently utilised.
Two years of living off grid with little or no amenities requires true grit.
Your organizational skills, time and budget management are valuable lessons for all management students.
How proud and satisfied you must be to have made such a welcoming home,(with all the feminine touches!!!)all by yourself .
    CONGRATULATIONS Rosie.
    You are an enduring inspiration.
    Much love.

Just wanted to take some time out and explain how precious this project of yours is to me. In this day and age with huge projects and the noise of an overheated world, cheered on by loud masses of extroverted self proclaimed v.i.p´s telling us that bigger and more expensive is always better, a Dutch woman just had enough one day and bought a little cabin in the woods. And she´s awesome. You´re nothing short of a fairytale, you know, the old clever kind that aimed to teach a little something, a useful tidbit of wisdom to be carried through life. You keep making videos, and I´m sure we´ll keep watching. Dont ever change!

It looks so cozy! I don't know how to explain it properly in English, but it have this fimiliar, welcoming, nostalgic "great grandparents countryside cottage" vibe, while still being very modern and clean. It's such an unique juxtaposition. Also now, when you finished the units it looks nicely organised, with your items having their designated places. And of course great choices in the lighting 😀They help break this very organic feel that so much wood gives, adding to the complexity of the design.
I also really loved you explainig your design process, while showing the moodboards. Hope we could see that in other videos of finieshed renovated spaces in the future too. It really shows how much intention and thought went into this project. Proud of you!

You should be proud and happy with your accomplishments, Rosie! You have put your soul (and probably a non-negligible amount of your blood, sweat and tears) into that kitchen renovation, and made it into something that is purely you. Also, you've done so at a fraction of the cost that most would need to put in to up the standards of a regular kitchen. Furthermore, you have raised the value of your house, in case you would ever consider selling it.

This is a beautiful story and I have enjoyed all of it remembering your comment "why would anyone want to watch a low quality production video" This was more than just a kitchen renovation. This was a story about a single woman single-handedly taking on a huge task and mastering it. You have grown to become a skilled carpenter, video production master, talented story teller, masterful on building on a budget inspiring all and proving your design skills. The room is beautiful and so are you. I look forward to see what else you do.

Excellent categorization Rosie. It's great to see someone do budget reno's who is learning as they go. There is too much content out there where the subject of the video has $15,000 worth of the best tools available and they work in the trades and have friends or family who either help them with thousands in free labour and machinery. You accomplished all this at your own pace and learned as you went. I will continue to watch every video of yours and am genuinely looking forward to your next focus area.

Fabulous, fabulous effort Rosie. I am so impressed with what you have achieved. Me and my husband retired to France just over a year ago and did a full restoration. We worked and lived in a building site for nearly a year but we did employ some artisans to help us as we needed plumbing and electrics which were beyond our ability. Wow.. you! This is A-MA-ZING! I'm even a little emotional! What a journey and what a result! And all that with no previous building experience, you said. Despite the blood, sweat and tears, I hope you are VERY VERY PROUD of yourself! And honestly, I don't think it's all that expensive. Please don't stop sharing. It's such a joyous journey you're taking us all on, and I love your enthusiasm! I'm excited to see what you're doing for the next room! 🥰🥰🥰

I've been following you since you were looking for a cabin.
Even then, you were very creative and determined.
So began the journey with Roaming Wild Rosie.
From the first moment I was impressed.
I want to admit that what impressed me the most
is that you coped with the climate. Many follow you here
on RUclips but few know that Sweden has
very tough climate. You should know that not many
able to withstand the harsh climate.
I don't know how well you knew the meter system
but what I saw told me you were well informed.
Furthermore, purchase of tools and handling of tools
impressive! How many people know how a square hook
    works or a circular saw.
Inventive, creative thinking, the list never ends.
I would like to see a book you have written.
Aimed at both women and men.
A book about how a person can take advantage of your creativity and do something big yourself.
The book would also show how a lone woman (human) moves
to an arctic country and shows how to survive four seasons
which is a total of four completely different seasons. Where autumn shows
how mother earth goes to sleep to wake up in spring.
The book can show that a person completely without knowledge of
machines where some machines are quite dangerous if you don't handle them correctly.
Dear Roaming Wild Rosie, I believe that not only I have gained an idol, but many of your followers probably see you as an incredible person.
I see you as a person of great power.
A power that many people lack.
There are over 100,000 abandoned houses in Sweden.
Almost everyone who comes here from the UK and USA gives up
to live in Sweden. The climate breaks most people who were not born here.
Dear Roaming Wild Rosie, I hope you stay for a few more years
even if the frost bites your cheeks, even if the cold wants to take you away
in eternity. Hag hopes that the Nordics' beautiful spring and summer
keeps you there. Sweden needs you as an example.
(Sorry if I have written grammatically wrong or something else crazy but my English is very dusty)
