I come back to this class again and again for Paul James Lewis, who also accompanied the Cleveland, SF and Joffrey Ballet companies. His music is incredible at being able to bring out movement. Can't get ahold of his old recordings released on CDs in the late 90s / 2000s though!

So wonderful to see Luca Abdel Nour, triple Prix de Lausanne 2021 (including the audience prize), here at the Dutch National Ballet. He is an exceptional dancer and I wish him continuing success.
I think a clean single pirouette from fifth to fifth is much more difficult than you would think! Great class of centre work by a superb teacher, emphasising placement, control, strength, épaulement. Love the Dutch National Ballet ❤️🩰🌹
Thank you for your wonderful classes. Can the centre classes be demonstrated with the dancers facing away from the camera? I get my left and right mixed up.
Don't break furniture?! I'm breaking furniture just watching. God was merciful to the world when I was subliminally disuaded from pursuing ballet. I do confess an obsession with pointe shoes, which attempting to mount actually SUMMARILY CURED my lower back pain. Maybe I shoulda been a ballerina. Oh, relax. I'm joking.

Agreed, can one dancer face front and the other face back so I can see the arms but follow the back facing dancer?
