Very very helpful our new leaner, Tnx u. First time I seen long video for turn right at traffics lights. Really really enjoyed and very helpful. Show more like long video same difficulty right and straight will go car and round about big and mini. And other things will help pass No words to say how to Tnx. I will see again again ur very. Before was always scared of turn right and not understand light when turn right. Now much understanding and will see video again again. Tnx
I really appreciate you taking the time to write that wonderful feedback. I'm glad you found it useful and hope to make to make more videos like this. Thank you! 🫶🏾
Can possibly will do automatic learning video. I am learning automatic. Does very very less peoples show automatic car lessons. I did fail manual before. Now do lessons automatic. Tnx ur video. Show more tips will test pass
Thank you very helpful video I am new in the uk and I feelt so disappointed with the traffic rules here its really crazy I do not know why they had to make such poor roads system
I'm a week away from my test and the problem with my test centre is that it has a crazy amout of roundabouts, meaning little number of traffic light controlled junctions, but they do still exist and don't have enough experience with different situations (don't think I ever encountered the situation at 21:00) so don't wanna fail my test if it happens. I took a screenshot of that visual representation where oncoming vehicles both turn right.
@3:07 why were you on the right hand lane after turning and stayed on the right hand lane for awhile? Shouldn’t you be turning right and enter the left hand lane and stay there? Looking at it carefully, was is just a wide road?
At 17.17, why the cars weren't moving. Was a filter right arrow, but then on the junction there were signs to go behind for waiting for right, if I saw it correctly, so bit confused.
Hi 👋🏾. Not sure what you mean by “signs to go behind for waiting for right” but those cars weren’t moving because at that junction, one side has green light while the other has red. And if you’re not familiar with the junction, you won’t know that until you move forward and then see that they are not moving. Hope that helps.
@@ZONDOdriving Thank you, and my apologies if I was not clear in the first instance. my apologies, the sign on the road at 17.14 seems to indicate it is right side to right side, which I will assume happen when people on opposite side can potentially take right turns needed. But here it seems opposite flow had stopped, so it confused me.
@@kundankanan9074 ah yes that makes sense. I see why you might have been confused. Those arrows are also useful for showing traffic that’s turning right the path they should take. Even if they aren’t going to wait in the middle.
@@ZONDOdriving Thank you for all the guidance . I passed my test with 3 minors in Mill Hill today and big part of the credit goes to you-- both in terms of skills and nerves.
Very useful, thank you. One situation you didn't mention - if the green arrow indicating you can turn right goes blank, but the main light (on the same stand) is green, can you still turn right (obviously taking extra care)?
Hi Johanne. Good question. Yea you can turn if the green arrow goes blank, but you still have the normal green, you can go as long as there’s no incoming vehicles.
At 4:16 we can see a new green light (right green arrow) in additional to the traffic light already green So it’s confuse me, should i wait for the green arrow first before moving?
Hi. So the green arrow lets you know that the oncoming traffic has a red, which means you can go. You can still go before the green arrow if there's a big enough gap between the traffic, or if the oncoming traffic stops.

@@ZONDOdriving Couple of things which I think can be sensible: 1. Maximise the use of filter lights and allow straight on and right going traffic at a time. This is to avoid as much as possible traffic crossing each other's path. A study in america has shown this reduces collition rate by 69%. 2. Having filter lights can help in setting up more advance combinations, where depending on traffic, going right only or staright ahead only can be chosen for optimisation purpose. 3. Try to implement consistency. E.g. if I have already turned right I should be allowed to go full way. Why there should be another give way line and / or a red light or a pedestrain crossing to stop me at a tiny space to move further? 4. Implement countdown timer on red lights as this helps a lot in being proactive. In all, what I am trying to say is that junctions should be intuitive and not a puzzle to solve
Dash cam should have been used rather than head cam so that the viewers could concentrate on the road only. The car roof has covered half of the screen
This is so helpful! I am still terrified of turning right at lights and I passed in 2012!

22:00 - would the safest thing be to wait for the light to change to red, as you said there could've been cars doing 50mph hidden behind that red van?

At 1:41 how comes you indicate early when there is a right turning before the one you eventually take? Are you not allowed to turn into that road?

timing of signal @ 8:45 ? is it correct as there was a street to the right?
That's not a road as such.
Thank you very much
Hi this video is very helpful do you give lessons around East London?
Hi 👋🏾. Glad you find the video useful. Unfortunately I only cover NW London.
Nice and clear
great head cam
Very useful video 👍
How do I notice I need to stay left to make a right turn, in some right turn at the traffic light??? I have failed twice on this.
Thank You
Discretionary right turns are dangerous. They are expected to be phased out in Singapore.
ive just crashed into parked car wot should i do
Leave your details on their windshield and pay for any damage
Helpful video. But such a shame! A simple act of turning right has been made incredibly challenging by DVSA.
Thank you. Interesting to hear you say that though. Why do you think it's been made challenging and how would you improve it?
