Paul Rabel is actually destroying the game of lacrosse. Yes he brought PLL to everybody but with this new stupid shot cock rule the new no long sticks taking face off and other rules that he’s going for as just made the game really boring he needs to stop trying to get rid of face off I swear, as soon as Trevor Baptiste is done, they’re gonna get rid of face off and he seems like he would prefer to do sixes. He hasn’t added a new team it’s repetitive and you don’t see the time because it’s the same teams every single game.
This is a hot take. I think he’s experimenting with the rules to attract new viewers. If they don’t work, he’ll revert back. He also said he can’t add more teams until there is crazy high demand from a location. The MLL made this mistake and had poor attendance. He gets a lot of hate which I get, but it’s also mad hard to build a league. Patience.
I can understand the teams thing but the new faceoff rules are so dumb It’s almost as bad as the NCAA talking about making it illegal to clamp during face off
now some players are always hated or better yet feared. go back to the 1970s NLL and look up paul suggate of the maryland arrows. he was bobby orr back then, a high scoring d-man who would had speared his grandmom. awesome player, but liked???

Not to mention, Michael Sowers is good, but he gives up a little bit when it comes to ground balls. You can see him not put 100% going for a ball which was made obvious during the archer water championship game when he pretty much thought he had it so we didn’t go 100% and he The ball got lost
