I remember watching one of his livestreams where he proclaimed that he'd love to set up some center in Africa and "preach" there, lol. Let me tell you, that made me stop and go 👀 real fast, because by that time I had been lucky enough to meet a few people who genuinely walked the spiritual path and I knew that none of them would be caught dead saying something so cult and guru-like. It just sounded so... entitled? Like, who appointed you to go to a whole-ass different continent to "preach" to the people there? And preach what?
I couldn't shake that feeling off, although I kept watching his content mainly out of habit and boredom sometimes. You are right, it's so necessary to experience real wisdom and teachings, doesn't matter if it's about meditation, yoga, religion or whatever, to at least have a better chance of eventually seeing through these charlatans, especially these days when they're popping up like mushrooms after rain 🙈
This is exactly what I’m getting at. People really think it’s just bitter ex drama when the man literally has told me on several occasions ( I have proof) that he wants to start a cult. I didn’t make this specifically about our relationship for a reason, but what he exposed me to during our relationship that’s making me wave the red flag. 🚩 I care about the safety of other people more than I care about our breakup and the things he did to me directly. It’s much bigger than that, and thank you for pointing this out.

I agree most of the people REALLY doing the work do so without a sense of entitlement or megalomania, they move in silence. They are not talking about being a saviour for anyone else, its about being a saviour for yourself first and foremost. Then at some point, leading by example and by letting people decide what resonates with them, you can have a positive impact on others, inspiring others to step up and become their own guru/saviour.

A quote I once read in one of Thich Nhat Hanh's books beautifully captures this idea: "The Buddha said many times, 'My teaching is like a finger pointing to the moon. Do not mistake the finger for the moon'." In my experience, real spiritual teachers (of any religion or practice) embody that principle, and act only as humble guides for those seeking to know more about certain topics, and not as self-important gurus preaching to the plebs 🙄
I remember him saying this vividly, too! I think it was shortly after that that I noticed being less and less drawn to his content. For context, if it matters, I am a white European woman living in Kenya and move in spiritual circles so that bit stood out to me as odd.
🔥 I adore female rage. I love when the wild woman awakens to speak the truth, to awaken the masses from illusions and honor her existence by exposing not only the beautiful parts of her life but also the negative aspects, loud and clear, with names and surnames.

I remember my partner (who has studied under a lot of teachers) pointing out how he doesn't actually say anything but I gave him a pass & stuck around. Eventually noticed that he just repeated himself with those overly simplified statements, but figured I'd just outgrown his message & continued to hang around & even share his content for the peaceful, grounded vibe I perceived. Hearing that he's actually just another snake in the grass disgusts me! Seriously Soo grateful you're exposing him girl.... spiritual manipulation for personal gain, doesn't get much worse than that imo, especially as a spiritual teacher & community organizer myself.
Hit the nail on the head with the “overly simplified statements” 👏🏾 It’s that vague, airy fairy language; attempting to say something but actually saying nothing that gets me annoyed. And until you come across someone with real spiritual wisdom, who says very concrete things with facts & real world examples to back it up, you don’t notice you’re being fed such nonsense. I used to watch Hindz almost everyday before starting my day during the pandemic. I felt like the community he made through his livestreams were truly good people. However, after he introduced you onto his channel as his wife out of nowhere, I immediately knew something was up. I found your channel and I have resonated with your content so much. Girl, I been following him for YEARS. While I will say I took from him what I needed when I needed it, as soon as you called him out, I didn’t want to believe it. But I sat with it, and the way he completely ignored you and continued posting like he didn’t just hurt you, I had to unfollow him on every platform. I will not stand for men that hurt women and act like they don’t exist. That literally goes against what he preaches.
So I watched a few minutes of his speak like a pro video and that’s when it was clear to me that he was playing people and faking his voice etc. then I went back to his older vids and it was even more clear that he was putting on an act with the fake accent, the voice consistently changing and his message becoming very redundant. He uses a lot of the same simple sayings and lots of basic metaphors, but he doesn’t really talk about anything deep or the actual process of growth or shadow work. His videos on making money, fame and celebrities he seems more well versed in that, because I think that’s what he truly cares about, not actual mental of deep self awareness and healing. He’s just using the spiritual spaces to make money. Thank you for bringing this to light. BBC just released a documentary on a cult leader was pretty similar to him in many ways.

I paid in full for a coaching program and quit because of this exact behavior. I don’t have the words, to describe the issues, but you said it….I paid to joined a community of business women and I was treated like an audience. I felt stunned when I joined for mutual grow.
It's so surreal that this is the reality and true nature of HINDZ. My sentiments exactly to many of the comments posted here. Years ago, watching him at first was refreshing, but like someone else here who said in the comments I started to dissociate from his messages. I'm glad someone else pointed it out...he is performative. So overdone that it began to seem disingenuous, forced, and manufactured. There are so people who yearn so much to seek a spiritual healer...a guru...that they don't catch the signs and red flags right away. The advice that I've given myself is to always question everyone and everything; and don't take any and everything as the be-all and end-all message. May we all have the gift of discernment.

I think the most beautiful thing about this is the level of support ur receiving. It shows not only what is fallacy (Hindz’s whole operation) but also what is TRUE…that people love and care for YOU, not just your content, but the pieces of your soul you vulnerably choose to share with us. but even more than that, we SEE U. we HEAR YOU. we BELIEVE you. the support and the discernment of hundreds is also being exposed, and I think that’s just beautiful. there’s always a truth on the other side of every illusion, and the truth is that we GOT YOUR BACK. we have each others backs. and THATS how we protect each other from ugly men like him.

I also remember he made a video about how we should be more like kanye west, and when he started receiving criticism he just took it down like nothing happened. It always felt weird that he is "so spiritual and chill" and not aligned with the busy hectic world, but yet he follows and idolizes creators who really do not share his "spiritual" values.

One of his vids he’s telling people that if they gossip it’s gonna make their content bad and insinuating that gossiping changes the “frequency” of your voice. 🤨 he gossips on his livestreams, his video on MIA is also gossip. So I was confused… He’s subliminally telling his followers not to listen to anything you say about him because it’s “gossip” but your experience with him isn’t gossip. Like you said he’s trying to get people to “self censor” themselves, not ask any questions about controversial things or questionable people. He’s doing damage control and constantly takes subliminal hits at you.

Hello Gazelle, I used to be an admirer of Hindz for some years (you gave me perspective, and it shocked me a lot), listened almost every episode of his Spotify podcast, back then, when he used to make them regularly and It kind of helped me at the time, I was in my own spiritual journey, which I think never ends. However, I remember the episodes leaving me with a sense of not being enough, since they were really short and, like you said, lacked depth or actual advice you can follow, but it sounded good, peaceful, mindful, his calm voice got me. I progressively lost interest in his speech with his YT videos. To be honest, I didn't realize what it was, but I felt something was off, especially when you got together and you showed up on his videos, I felt it like love bombing. Like all of his topics and videos turned on your relationship, constant lives which felt like spam, it annoyed me for some reason, I understand now, after watching everything you have posted.
I stopped watching him for a long time, when I randomly remembered him, I checked and he deleted everything from you both, acted just like the relationship never happened or that he never made it public, I was expecting some kind of acknowledge on his videos or any topic related to break ups.
Maybe he ran out of ideas. No one will be able to mantain a lie over time, and the thought of a movie like relationship with that spiritual touch that we, the audience, would want to experience and of course it creates good numbers on the views, which is a topic he slightly puts on his videos, very far from the "spiritual" perspective and themes he wants to show. Only he knows what he did, or he doesn't. A narcissist will never recognize he did wrong.
Pd: I had an experience myself with a man who made me think he was so spiritual, working on himself. The connection was breathtaking at the beginning of course, I felt he was the one for me so I gave and gave and gave without hesitation, promised me a future together and then just cut me off like I was nothing. I relate with you, in different magnitudes, of course.

But what’s hidden, never stays in the dark for too long. Any man or woman can show us the version of themselves they want us to see.

As someone who escaped a cult I applaud you so much for speaking up and calling this out. I did not know who this man was until this video and the second I watched his video on how to speak like a professional the red flags were so clear on how manipulative he actually is. The cult leader I experienced was the same exact way, a fake calm tone, very simple sayings that could apply to literally anything and no depth, but people like myself who were just starting their spiritual journey didn’t have the discernment to realize that. I was so brainwashed to even realize what was going on and these people are skilled at entraining and getting into the minds of so many people. He also claims to never gossip in that video and unless he’s a monk then that’s simply not true especially given the fact that his video before was about MIA, a celebrity he doesn’t know and was gossiping on.
And reading the comments the people who are disagreeing with you remind me of my fellow cult members after I left. They are blind, some wiling and some unwillingly. So many fly monkeys. I was ostracized, I was left with nothing, and I was getting traumatized all over again from those people by just leaving in my own accord. The people who are refusing to see this for what it is and claiming that it’s just a bitter ex posting, have the luxury of not knowing how damaging this type of abuse is. And they are victims themselves even if they don’t realize it. Anyone who gives their love and support to an abusive man is either a victim with a trauma bond or an enabler.
I pray you don’t let those people stop the truth. I hope this inspires him to at least stop and pivot into a lane where he isn’t placing himself on a pedestal. I doubt it since he’s a narc, but we can hope. Sending you so much love and healing.

I watched his videos during quarantine but soon gave up because I realised what he was about. Also, what bothered me and stood out (and I am so sensitive to energy and manipulation) - he makes sounds. Those slurping sounds are not about slurping, there is something there, like a program, a sound that hooks you, like a jingle in commercials. It is beyond me why he does it as it is simply annoying.
It's not just the slurping but the sound of satisfaction that follows it. "aaaaaahhh..." Like having that first sip of coffee, or spoonful of soup that came fresh out of a pot on the stove. Very Pavlovian, now that you point it out. It's like a dog hearing it's owner opening a bag or pouring something into a bowl in the kitchen. The way he manipulates sounds during his streams and videos and the overall acoustic approach is definitely designed to program viewers, get them hooked and keep them returning.
I appreciate the way you articulated this. I dated someone for almost a decade who was represented as a spiritually wise intellegent knowledable pure-type human well known in the Rastafari community. These type of actors just study people and books, the Bible, spiritual texts, etc. and use information and the image that fits to cover up who they can’t truly be. Those really close to them will hear them say things about themselves like “I’m a humble person” (haha) or twist their behavior so much onto you until they see themselves as a God and tell you you should repent to them. Truly the most disgusting yet most awakening experience I’ve ever had.

I feel you. I’m not saying don’t watch his content, I’m saying be very aware of his tactics so you don’t get roped into staying on the surface and lacking self awareness. His content is great if you wanna learn how to not care about anything but yourself which can be necessary sometimes in life, but don’t drown yourself in it. As a member of this community, I have a challenging question. Gazelle, when some of us tried to warn you about Hindz or the rushed nature of the relationship, why did you dismiss us?
This is a good question and I really do appreciate you asking. I really had to sit with it even before you asked this, for weeks. Because for a while I couldn’t understand how and why, I was solely wrapped in the “what” - but in short, I had no discernment and I believe my imagination and even idealization of the relationship stopped me from seeing what was what. I was in LALA land and wasn’t well educated on narcissism to where I could recognize the signs.
I felt more of a trust and connection to him through a parasocial relationship, than I did with everyone else who I felt I didn’t know, and didn’t know me. And he mirrored me so well that the trust was much easier. Also, the support and praise of our relationship was a million times louder than the warnings and that for sure inflated my ego and blinded me even more.
Theres also many psychological factors that come into play that I plan on doing a video on, because I’m an accountable woman, and without accountability there’s no growth, and there’s no improvement of discernment - and since realizing that many other people go through this, I feel compelled to also share the ways that we lack discernment in these situations.
For now, I’m taking it day by day with what I’m learning, and it starts at the beginning, which is this the “how” he entrains his audience and gets them to feel safe in the first place.

i was a huge fan of Hindz and he really helped me throughout the pandemic, even bought his reminder deck. i would also join his live sessions and altho i enjoyed being there due to loneliness and boredom, i did sense something was a lil off (he would always respond to women’s comments in the chat but ignore others), but i tried to shake it off. i also remember seeing that he followed all the beautiful “spiritual” and lifestyle girls on Instagram (content creators that i also really loved) and saw he would like all their photos and already thought that was sketch too. but now it makes sense. thank you for sharing your story and revealing to us that he is not what he portrays himself to be. it truly sucks cus now i’m questioning myself with feeling like i’m susceptible to falling for cult leaders, but this was a good push. keep these videos coming!!

I can agree with you on this... both of them pop up on my YT and I've enjoyed content from both. As a woman I understand the pain of breakup and the feelings of betrayal, etc that comes with that. As a soul sister, I want to extend love to both of them. This idea in the spiritual community that people have to be perfect or fit in a particular box is both sad and funny at the same time. We are all attracted to people, things, places, etc that reflect where we are at different stages of our journey. If and when we out-grow, evolve, no longer align... it's so much more powerful and uplifting to leave with love. 💜🦋
She’s literally speaking her truth, warning people about a dangerous “leader” in the spiritual community, healing herself, and helping other people heal all at the same time. And you’re ultimately saying “please stop doing that because it doesn’t make me feel good✨” If he hadn’t subjected his wife to narcissistic abuse, then there would be nothing but “love and light” videos to make. But sense that’s not the case, you should take it up with him if you feel that the spiritual community has gotten “too negative”.

AUDIENCE!!!! The way my friends tried to convert me back in 2020 to listen to him. Immediately I felt he wasn’t deep enough for me especially at that time when lots of spiritual activity was happening! Years passed and my same friends sent a video & it did hit but consuming after that felt redundant and stiff to listen to. He reminded me of the old model of what RUclips was back in 2015 through 2019 , Clickbait surface level content driving up analytics rather than genuine community.
I remember watching a live(like one where he worked, played music, and answered questions).Apparently too many people were asking “spiritual/deep questions “, and he was obviously bothered by it. I had already had a weird feeling, but after that I COMPLETELY lost interest. Something just seemed off😅
I could also sense something wasn’t right, I had watched him on and off for the last few years. I joined a few of his lives lately and truthfully, he ain’t a vibe. The music was more a vibe than he was. He was quite dismissive to some people, I don’t feel like he genuinely interacted with reverence to what he “preaches” in his pre filmed videos. And you’re right, high quality videos alone show things that aren’t really there. The amount of takes, editing etc, it’s all preformed. Genuine free flow ain’t his thing, and yes, it’s alarming.
It was one of his latest videos he said “everyone came to me, I was the magnet” - my intuition was like “ohhh hell no that’s straight up ego” but my ego was “hell yeah, I can make people come to me” - it’s a trap.

I’m sorry for the pain you had to go through in this relationship. But the word Narcissist is being thrown out very lightly now a days. We all have some degree of Narcissistic traits. A lot of influencers display narcissistic traits. This wanting to be in the spotlight, grandiosity and the fact they love to hear themselves talk for hours can be considered signs of narcissistic traits. However it does not mean that these people have NPD (Narcissistic Personality Disorder). Please refer to the DSM-5. I don’t think there is anything wrong with using simplicity. This approach is actually helpful for me due to the overload of information that is out there. Sometimes we do have to simplify and consume less. Instead of constantly looking for new tools to heal.
I’ve actually had his behavior towards me confirmed as narcissistic abuse by a professional, and I’ve also done an incredible amount of research before even calling him a narcissist- but thank you for your input.
I gave him the opportunity over direct message to share his side of the story so I could remain a loyal follower and not share the exposed content to my friends who I also got to subscribe to him, and he blocked me lol 😂 now I’m putting him on blast too.
As you should sis, he won’t ever admit to anything. Even with proof.

Tbh the best way to not sink to his level is to review his videos on this channel and break it down for us. You know what’s good better than the viewers. It would make great content to review these videos he’s been making about dating advise lately. It’s better to not defame him but rather send your own reviews of the work he’s creating and reacting with your own views is valid, none sue-able content.
But be careful of how you label his character. Be sure to tell YOUR story, not his. But your observation are valid and you have the right to voice you opinions. Just can state claims of a persons character as if they are fact.

This is beyond valuable on so many levels. As someone who has been a follower of Hindz since the beginning of covid, I can affirm that I sought out his content for a long time in search of comfort, guidance, and a strong sense of community. When I learned of the relationship you two had, I felt deeply inspired and hopeful for what can be created when two creatives come together. It broke my heart to hear things went so wrong for you both and that Hindz failed to take care of you as a partner and friend (and that may even still be a major understatement). The reason this video holds so much value to me as a fellow creator is recognizing the opportunity many of us have to learn from this situation and your message. We can all work on taking more personal responsibility in our lives and areas of influence, as well as reflecting on the way we have been participating in our communities and wether or not it is really for the greater good of all. It's easy to get lost on this journey without friends and community to support and guide one another. Life on a pedestal should never be the goal. The only real gift we get out of sharing our message and creations with the world is the light it gives to others which in turn blesses us. If we strictly point that light at ourselves, it consumes us and leaves everyone else out in the dark. Let this be a reminder to us all to not be afraid of vulnerability, honesty, and self accountability. That is what makes one truly respectable and brave. That is the kind of leader we must all be, for ourselves and for others.

i dont know if he was agressive or not but after following him for a while and engaging in his lives...the small detail that made me go...hmmmm...was when i had mentioned that his lives were pre recorded then aired at a certain time...he really got upset and brought it up a few times that it wasnt true what i stated. and i get it ok maybe i was wrong but its a small mistake and the way he got defensive and very upset lol just made me wonder if he takes everything personal...well critiques. im assuming now yes lol
