Exactly the feelings I felt a year ago. Here I am a year later as an 11b. I still don’t feel accomplished, life in peacetime garrison is just too comfortable. I’ve struggled for a long time with self validation and telling myself I’m not good enough. I’m glad I’ve found your channel dude. Feels good to know there are other guys out there that feel the same way i do.

You make a lot of interesting points, I think the question of "Am I good enough?" is something everyone goes through at some point. What might be missing from society today for a lot of young people is a rite of passage, which you artifically created, to answer that question. Did passing RASP give you that internal validation? Sounds like it did.

I agree that a rite of passage is a wonderful tool that men have used for a long time. It is especially effective, I believe, between fathers and sons. If done properly I think it can help a man answer this fundamental question. But no, while it did build my confidence in my own abilities nothing I did answered "am I good enough". It took men that I respected telling me that I already was there, and nothing I did would make me "more of a man" than I already was. The point of this video was to share that you are already a man. You don't need RASP or climbing mount everest to get you there.
