CONEY HATCH new album "Four" will be released on September 24th in North America and September 27th in Europe and marks the first record of new material in over two decades. "FOUR" is chalked full of the unique brand of melodic riff-rock that first brought the band to the attention of critics and rock fans all over the world.
Just bought this cd off of eBay for $15!!!! Had never heard of Coney Hatch but I'm impressed in the US!

The interview vid they did last year tells the amazing story of how these guys(original lineup for the first 2 albums) were reunited and why they still have THAT sound, but BETTER! Plus, it has a very happy ending for all of us. A must see for all 'Hatch fans, newbie or old school. Have y'all heard their spin on that Angel City classic yet(Marsailles)? One of the tracks on FOUR is the completion of a song they started on with Kim Mitchell(Max Webster-look it up, youngsters)OVER 16 YEARS AGO! These guys rock with more crunch than a dry bowl of Wheaties and have managed to seamlessly connect past with present onstage and really deliver the goods!
If you EVER liked this band, buy the album. It's an amazing return for CH. Well written and performed hard rock like this needs support in today's market.
Such an AMAZING band! LOVE Coney Hatch! They sound better than ever! LOVE them. So happy to hear this. I remember buying all of their LPs in the 80s and when they opened for Rough Cutt and Accept at the Palladium in Hollywood in 85. I really hope they do another LP.

Finally, I hear the bass in the mix! Andy was interviewed recently and said that he wanted more bass in the first three album mixes in the 80s only to be outvoted by an arrogant producer. Coney should put out a 5th album when ready and play the GTA for a local tour dates around Toronto with new material.

Great AC/DC-inspired riffs, great hooks, great harmonized backing vocals, etc. This band has a strong sense of melody. Singer sounds a lot like Lou Gramm meets Paul Rodgers. I'll have to check this new album out.

Coney Hatch is BACK! After a difficult wait, the new album finally arrived today in my mailbox. Sounds fantastic. Well over two decades later and the four members together can still produce that amazing Hatch sound. The tones are a little more organic and not so "metal" as they once were, but the energy, vibrancy and chemistry remains. Can't wait to spin this CD over and over until the songs commit themselves to my "Coney Hatch Memory Jukebox".

WWow, what a Still Crazy moment ... (if you don't get the reference, find the movie) IF ONLY this had happened in '84, how could US programmers NOT put this in rotation? If Goddo was Canada's answer to AC/DC, then there is no doubt - none - that Hatch were Canada's Angels (Angel City). Or vice versa. So it's no surprise AT ALL that they covered the Angels' "Marseilles". This is a great track from one of the rare early-80s Canadian metal bands that made great and TRULY filler-free **albums**. (Outta Hand my fav by a whisker) SO much I want to say here ... these guys deserve their own rockdoc (just ... PLEASE ... not from Janson Media ... 😉 ). So come on, Angels, when are YOU gonna cover "No Sleep Tonight"? (A killer quid-pro-quo if ever there was one ... come on, Angels fans, you KNOW this would be a skin-tight fit.)
