What do you mean you hate trying to make it with eggs this is easier all you do with the eggs is stir them in over the heat with the sugar there's no difference you're not making it any easier for you you're still having to stir the same mixture overheat with cornstarch it's the same exact process so how was it easier 🤣😂🤔
@ Gypsy Soul Using eggs or not to make frosting it's still delish either way. Yummy! I might even add some crumble crispy bacon on top of the frosting when I bake a German chocolate cake give it a try though lol crispy bacon in the cake batter and add the coconut-pecan frosting on top and sprinkle with crispy bacon on top. Lol!

Omg wow 6 German Chocolate cakes! Wow you have a lot to do! Awesome! Yes you can make the frosting tonight and just let it sit overnight. The next morning all you have to do is stir your frosting and you're ready to frost your cakes! Let me know the results when you're done.

Over Thanksgiving I messed up a big batch of the regular recipe with egg.....24 eggs gone to waste and just before I found your recipe I messed up a double batch which was another 12 egg yolks. Charlie Andrews Well... my 11 year old son had his friend over, and between all of them... there's about one piece left in under 12 hours. Your icing is a hit! Only variation: I was in a hurry so I used a big mixing bowl, spread it out on all sides to increase its surface area, and popped it in the freezer for about twenty minutes. Perfect consistency at that point and it cut the cool down time considerably. As a plus, and I'd like to mention, I spent many years as a radio personality, manager, and program director. To me, a lot of RUclips posters sound like the screechers on Scanners. You? I would have hired. Keep up the vids, my friend. I'll try some of your creole recipes next. I'm more comfortable when I get away from the baking. :)

Thank you so much! I just made this but I doubled the recipe. It was so easy to follow your instructions even without the video. It came put perfect! Over Thanksgiving I messed up a big batch of the regular recipe with egg.....24 eggs gone to waste and just before I found your recipe I messed up a double batch which was another 12 egg yolks. I plan to use the whites for something this time lol. Well anyway thanks again.

Yes! Thank you very much!!!! It is very good! Alot of recipes call for you to use eggs and I didn't agree with that! Some recipes even put too much coconut and pecans in theirs.

So I struggled to find something that I could do without eggs because we used the last of them in the cake. It would be horrible to tease Dad with his favorite cake and not deliver! Well... my 11 year old son had his friend over, and between all of them... there's about one piece left in under 12 hours. Your icing is a hit! Only variation: I was in a hurry so I used a big mixing bowl, spread it out on all sides to increase its surface area, and popped it in the freezer for about twenty minutes. Perfect consistency at that point and it cut the cool down time considerably.
As a plus, and I'd like to mention, I spent many years as a radio personality, manager, and program director. To me, a lot of RUclips posters sound like the screechers on Scanners. You? I would have hired. Keep up the vids, my friend. I'll try some of your creole recipes next. I'm more comfortable when I get away from the baking. :)
