It will be nice to have something coded into the game. Countries can't switch into historical rivals or something. Every time somebody changes from Hungary to Austria a dog gets kicked somewhere
I foolishly expected something normal because you're sponsored by PDX and showcasing the new DLC, but no, it's still the usual madness. Really fun video! Wild trip from start to finish.
This video should be in a gallery.....its a work of art 10/10 A true showcase of how the game CAN be played if your willing to dive in a little deeper. I didn't want to play Hungary first.....now I have to
I am seeing more and more attention to trade in the videos :D I like it Great video, glad to see that the best Paradox Pentester/QA is finally getting the recognition he deserves ))
To quickly raise absolutism, I usually look for particularists, accept demands and then lower autonomy everywhere - compared to strat on video, saves you a lot of admin points
45:51 You should complete as many English missions as you can before taking the one that gives you Angevin missions, that way you can (somewhat) get both sets.
If you have "Maximum Effect of Absolutism" modifiers (which come from various government reforms and mission rewards) you can profit from absolutism over 100.
Good video, personally I’m not fond of the whole tag switching thing where it involves switching your culture. Though its more of role play thing I understand its for optimization but I always felt like, whats the point of starting as a specific nation if you’re just going to change it into something completely different, you might as well as done that nation from the start. But that's just me personally again, I understand doing it here where it is easier and allows world conquests to be more fun for you and others that do this method.
You could always shift-click to select multiple provinces - but it was only in the last 1.36 patch that they actually made it work for transferring occupations en bloc.
I have to admit, this was all super impressive, and I will never ever get to this level of EU4 skills, but the title... "Hungary is INSANELY strong", then I got to see 15 minutes of Hungary gameplay and 40 minutes of Austria/England/Sardinia-Piedmont/Prussia/Germany... it just doesn't feel right, but a huge letdown for me.
I've seen you making weird compositions for a while, why 12-4 armies? starting CW is 20, you're going into battle outflanked Army that goes first into battle should always be on CW width in frontline, reinforcing armies could be smaller but that for me at least is just too micro intensive And at least in MP ditching cav is very valid since you'll be often going above your FL, and their cost balloons out of proportion
You generally aren't fighting against 20 size armies early game. So you will be outflanking them. and 20 guys will be constant attrition on any province you stand.
I hope EU5 make the WC process less boring and more enticing, perhaps even RP friendly, In my experience World Conquests always feels like you are cheating on a board game or something like that, thats the vibe it gets for me....

I'm so glad that all the guys I watched received recognition from Paradox
Who else got sponsored by PDX?
@@rimreld Lemon Cake, The Student, Quarbit(Perhaps sponsored before)
@@wait...5091 Pretty sure he did Japan in Domination

one thing i love about pdx is how they treat their YT community
That invasion of germany was genuinely insane, classic playmaker playmaker move tbh..
Without Otto around, they’re ripe for the picking
>Release finland
>Give them all of sweden and norway
>Give finnish lands to lithuania
Swapping to Austria Should be illegal, as Hungary :)
They Should've given me Austria in the first place, I was forced to do it haha.
It will be nice to have something coded into the game. Countries can't switch into historical rivals or something. Every time somebody changes from Hungary to Austria a dog gets kicked somewhere
yeah shit like this is why eu5 wont have permanent modifiers
dude cheated Paradox lol
@@cleteh They do have that, they just didnt do it for Hungary to Austria
Dude was given one nation to showcase and instead he showed us like 5. Hell Yeah!
Tbh, its better if Poland gets chosen by Moldavia. So they will be your PUs vassal and wont waste a diplo slot.
Insane growth man, congrats and keep up the excellent content
9:47 Hold up! "Soizbuag" and "Steiamoak". Thats hardcore bavarian/austrian dialect 🤣
Hahaha it really is 😂

I swear to god if he forms Austria in this video...
I wouldn't dare
Jump cut into "I'm gonna" is actually a guaranteed 0 to death true combo
Mate you're giving me whiplash with all those country flips! Great video!

@@Theplaymaker57 fair point
congrats on getting sponsorship man love your videos and streams.
>Hungary is INSANELY strong.
>Switch to Austria
Congrats on the sponsorship but the lack of deleting forts is unsettling
100%, it felt wrong
4:00 literally the first time i've ever seen him build a fort
I was in complete disbelief
Is he such a bad player? Forts are great.
Literally insane how easy you make this look.
I don't why I thought Playmaker would do just a "regular" Hungary run lol. Needless to say, he lives up to his regular gameplay.
It isn't a Playmaker video without stacking Admin Efficiency.
Congratulations on getting sponsored by Paradox. Very well deserved!

That was absolutely nuts
Wait.... I played EU4 for 3600 hours and I didn't know it had Ctrl groups!
If I'm wrong, there's no point in having more than 100 absolutism, so you should have some privileges.
If you have "Maximum Effect of Absolutism" modifiers (which come from various government reforms and mission rewards) you can profit from absolutism over 100.
Me when modifier stacking
Edit : damn i knew we would see tag switching in such a long video
Unfortunately they totally forget Portugal in this last DLC makes me really sad
True... Portugal needs love

I can understand where your coming from, its not going to be for everyone.
But I don't see any mission for castile pu. Was it removed from the game?
I think the austrian mission tree is so underwhelminh compared to the other great powers. It deserves much more
I have 1.37, but not that Austrian Mission tree. I've already verified the file once.
In 90% adm efficiency we trust
gz on sponsorship
13:50 What would have happened if you released Bulgaria and Byzantium before they defected from the Ottomans, free land? Is it even possible?
Great play
Most crazies eu4 game ive seen
this is just crazy
let's go, no more NDA restrictions
Why did bro give Sweden to Finland but then give Finland to Lithuania?
7:49 1300 hours in this game and we could do that all along?!?!?!
nah, they only added that feature a few dlcs back

@@DylanSargesson thx for the info
Have they remade the Burgundy PU so that you’ll get it even if you accept a royal marriage and not send it yourself? 04:20
Yes they have.
I am really happy for you because of the sponsorship
But how the heck are they sponsoring you😅, you basically just break their games every run
Becoming German... the dream of every Hungarian and Balkaner in general.

If you're fighting a 10k enemy stack the cav prob helps to stack wipe the small enemy stacks

Too strong, they need a nerf asap. In all my games they dominated which is in no way historical...
