Just a note, this was recorded before the game released, so there could be some slight changes from the live version.

It is a difficult choice, staying on grain is probably the worst one as it is only 2.5 ducats and gets lowered to 2 around 1500, tho it gives 0.5 forcelimit, that isn't a huge boon on your capital on the plus side the soldiers household gives more manpower on grain. Cloth gives -10 dev cost on province which is realy nice and has a rather stable price, but it isn't the most valuable of those goods usealy around 3 ducats goes over 4 later in the game persia can make it realy pricey. Copper can skyrocket in the early game (especialy if Sweden wants to have monopolies on copper due to mission), but later on becomes less worth than cloth and is not giving you the -10 province dev cost, but when bronze cannons are introduced the price is around 4.5 without Swedens +150% for 40 years mission reward. Iron is around 3 ducats pre 1622 but after that it is around 4.5. Glass gives 10% local production efficiency has a baseline of 3 ducats, it changes it price several times around the 1600s and also doubles the bonus of statehouses.
I would say cloth overall is probably best, but if you want that statehouse bonus glass is amazing and if your priority is early game money than copper is probably the best bet while iron will get you more money than cloth after 1622 the difference gets slim after 1661 both have a base of 3 ducats cloth get a total permanent +35% increase, 20% around 1531 and 15% around 1661 (70% total with Persian mission if they complete it) while iron gets a 50% increase, that is still later in the game and cloth gives you -10 local dev cost.

The trade company mechanics are: the province must be in a different subcontinent than your capital, and must not be in the HRE. Hungary is in Eastern Europe but is on the border with Western Europe, so you can trade company Italy despite being right next door.

They also fixed the Tumul Crisis event trigger where if the heir is leading Ming's army they trigger the crisis instead of the ruler

Glass is ideal because you can get the faceting event. It gives bonus to production.

In the trade focus mission, you should probably pick glass, especially if you have rushed it, and haven't got any other glass provinces, since you can get Faceting using it (in this game the Burgundian Inheritance was freakishly early, so getting to Antwerpen so early is not something you can regularly count on - another good province might be Constantinople, if you rush it). Gems are a great early-game boost until the New World Gems price change, and also makes state houses more efficient (although I have never cared much for that). Iron is a slow burner, it increases considerably in value later in yhe game. Copper is great for the early/midgame.
Both iron, copper, and clothes are pretty alright, since there are a couple of nice pulse events associated with it, but unless I already own Constantinople by the time I embrace renaissance, I generally would choose gems and try to trigger Faceting ASAP for the Diamond District provincial modifier and the 4 ducat trade good value. If I already own Constantinople and am planning on a long game, iron. If im planning on a shorter run, copper. Since you're gonna end up owning the Venetian end node anyways, you're bssically guaranteed to (in the long run) make some dough off of swapping the good. Two extra production on a grain base good just isnt as good, unless Pest is already so high dev that you'd empty your mana by devving with whatevwr dev cost reduction you have. It might also be good to actually just have it stay glass, since New World Gems nerfs the trade good pretty badly, but to do that, you'd either need to hold off the mission until someone else triggers Faceting, or stay under 50 prestige or not embrace renaissance (neither of which are worth it IMO) until it triggers.
Having said that, Diamond District is a great modifier in both Pest and Constantinople, slightly worse in Channel just because of how trade works.

I don't tag switch much so seeing you do it is super cool, I like this style of play a well where you follow a mission tree. I guess either is good cuz you really do a good job of explaining the important stuff. Cheers ❤

For the mission that allow you to change production of Pest I think glass is better because of the tech reduction (minus 5% on diplo) and the +10 state production you can get but I don't know how you get those bonus.

You have to be the number one producer of that trade good in the world

    Glass - More money
Cloth - Let you dev cheaper.
Other than that, you should go for anyone you can become the production leader faster (since your capital is likely to have high dev and it should give you nice bonuses)

You can probably just use the order of the dragon at the start for the PU poland mission, since it will give ~5 dev for only 50 mil points

Only thing I dislike about this mission tree, is you lose the permanent -10% diplo annexation cost modifier from an old mission. They need to change subjugation missions to reduce AE a bit, so they are worth taking. They used to be I think -50% or -75% AE before, but people abused it. But 100% is not worth it.

Random comment. There should be a government type that elects an advisor as the next ruler if the ruler dies. Monarch power is based on base level so a level 2 that is levelled up to 4 will not change the MP

Question: why is your early game stack a 12/4? It doesn't match the combat width and when two of those stacks fight together there are more cav units than can flank a smaller stack

Fyi, to add a province it needs to be in a different subcontinent than your capital (you sounded kinda like you didn't know that, Pest is in Eastern Europe, Venice is in Western)
