Not done an actual paiting video. In honesty, so many better guys than me have great quality videos up on U-tube. I also take my sweet time painting. Nobody wants to take their time these days, its all slapchop and washes and such. I like to stick on a talking book and get into it and just relax. It probably takes me a month or more to do a 10 man squad. :-)
I do use oils for shadows yes. My routine is usually. Undercoat black. Airbrush the armour till I get a look I like. Varnish with Gloss. Oil pin wash (not really a wash more a pin in the shadows). If I do it carefully there is very little if any clean up needed. Transfers (microsol and microset), then usually I varnish Matt. Then I do edge highlights and paint the whole model. Last step another coat of varnish, usually about 4 parts Matt to 1 part Gloss OR full Matt. Depends. I usually paint over things like gems and power weapons with a brush Gloss varnish to give them a bit of shine.
Ultramar arriba 💪
This is me with my Emperors children, gotta get those boys set up soon, weirdly inspirational
@@loneratwar4746 I can sense the beauty of your perfection from here.
Have you ever shared how you paint your Ultramarines? If not, would you mind to do so? :D

Looking good, I’ve been thinking between a hellblade or a baneblade. I know it cost alot more but leaning towards hellblade
@IrishJayc63 well...no hellblade in Heresy so easy decision for me. To be honest my other super heavy is built in that variant.
@@padanfain7466 I meant fell blade that’s auto correct. That is a hh tank
Did you do an oil wash on the Praetorian breachers?
