      We had such beautiful memories in the 1980’s . It was a very similar time in history just like the roaring 1920’s before WW2. People were actually very happy, or the happiest we could be.

      Amen! I used to go to the clubs in 4” heels (I was over 6’ in heels) and hair touching Heaven! I would lose my heels along the way, knowing they’d be there when I was ready to go! We could even leave our purses at the table...never thinking they’d be taken (no electronics, few credit cards...and, not much money - incentive to steal low). Good times!

      @@shawbrothersgirl2740 day after Christmas 2010 at age 54 she died..back in 2004 and a hotel room a picture fell on her head causing her seizures occasionally for the rest of her life..she had a tonic clonic seizure a grand mal seizure which is similar to people with epilepsy prior one month before or just after Thanksgiving in 2010.. Los Angeles coroner found no signs of foul Play or anything and I believe her death was ruled just simply natural causes

    I'm 37. Young in Soul Train years. But I thank God everyday that I'm old enough to remember waking up Saturday morning and this being on.     I used to watch this on Saturdays back in Cleveland, so happy to stumble upon it now! Hey these ladies are foxy AND they have clothes on with not a tatoo in sight. And the dudes all have a laid back style with a sense of humor. I love how the fella at 1:10 finishes with a strut back to accounting firm. Good stuff!
