"This raise changes nothing. Everybody calls". Sounds like my home game 😂
Bro you keep winning like this your gonna have to change your mad man ! Grats on the win love the content keep em coming
Welcome back to Texas bud! Can’t wait to battle it out on the felt with you.
love the hands
19:43 He can still call you by offering "to fold if you show". Depends on how you answer the opponent can pick up if you want him to fold.
Not sure if he is more inclined to call if you kept silent.
I agree, I normally won't respond unless it seems genuine. he was a req player who was up and didn't want to lose money. But he asked and I shrugged and said sure. thank you
I'll assume Gil's face after you slow played AA is now your screensaver? 😂 Very solid session. Keep it up!
i have an extra ticket to Value Town if anyone wants to join me. Funky is driving me there
Love you rosey
There’s nothing wrong with expecting an opponent to show when you call them. You paid for the information.
agree, everyone is saying this and I love it
@5:38 How many Jack of hearts do you guys play with in your country? 😆
Simple mistake lol
@FunkyPunts not if you want your channel to grow/ establish credibility. That's a pretty big error imo
Looks like some good games going on in Texas now. Need to drive down from NW Arkansas sometime. Glad to see Texas
pass into law poker rooms. Good luck man and I enjoy learning from watching your videos.
Funkkyyyyy! Keep it rolling baby! 🤩🤩
You already know!
I typically wait for them to say you’re good. If they’re slowrolling, then they’ll be punished by karma later in the session
Make him show. It wasn't as if you tanked with the nuts. Since you are not a reg there, it's important to get as much intel on players as possible. Nothing wrong with making him show his 7c-6c. If I were him, I just would have mucked once you called because 7 high beats NOTHING. Keep up the fun content!
I play in Germany.
Similar playing styles. I'd start a vlog, yet not certain it's legal here.
AQ of hearts could be in his range on that hand with J 2 but I still would have called as well since ur blocking a lot of combos with the Jack of hearts in your hand nice call
thank you, it was a strong play by my opponent.
The Funk Master!
Unless I have the absolute nuts, I won't turn first unless the other player verbally says I'm good.
Always let your opponent show always if they don’t want to let them muck. That’s free information for later
agreed, thank you. VS that specific opponent it felt wrong. he was newer to the game I believe.
Those double js Jeff jiggty
Do u play 2/5 at poker house?
just 1/2 $500 cap and 1/3 $1k cap
I hate those decks with 2 Jacks of hearts
Players are soo bad in Texas 😂 never make them show when you have the effective nuts it may deter bluffing
Whoever bets has to show first. So 7 / 6 of clubs has to show.
On the J2 hand regarding making him show, it appeared to me that you called, he nodded saying you got it and then he flipped his cards as you were just grabbing your cards to show. So no, you did not make him show in my eyes.
WTF is the purpose of the bet @4:44?
Usually, I'll show the winner and let the opponent muck their hand if they've been caught on a bluff.. they've punted their money off to you already!
Hes no jello but rosey is the man
Two errors in your commentary, otherwise excellent vlog (1st time viewer).
You arent repping an overpair when you check flop multi way
Absolutely force them to show.
You paid to see his hand IMO.
thats a great perspective, thank you
Absolutely NOTHING wrong with having players show their cards according to the action
If I call a river and they just sit there, if the dealer says anything like "Let's see some hands" I simply and politely reply, "Of course. I am happy to show in turn" reminding them that I am the caller, not the bettor.
ESPECIALLY if I know my opponent likes to slow roll the winners when he is 1st to show. In that situation I may even look at them and say "Show em or throw em" and if they muck I don't reveal my cards either
Or, if I know this player is NOT a slow roller and just embarassed to show their bluff, I will happily flip my hand first
BTW, fun fact:
If everyone checks the river the first position is first to show
Why?
Technically a "check" is a "bet of no money" and is therefore considered "action"
Many dealers and floormen are not familiar with that concept but, think of it this way, in a disputed situation where someone was passed by to check or bet whatever, or a card turned by dealer too quickly, and the floormen always ask "Has there been any action yet?" Checking always qualifies, hence, a check is "action"
If you call it’s not bad etiquette to have them show. You paid for the information. That said, I’m not the guy who does this unless there is some reason behind it or something happening prior where I actually want to see. Or they were being rude to other people at the table I’ll make them show. 🤔
Muck or show is my rule
