    Jungleman is dismissive of Caro's book, but allot of it is absolutely applicable. You can see it watching the poker streams. People glance at their chips when their card hits, and stare at the board when they miss.

    • @bccsivxx-xxivvii
      @bccsivxx-xxivvii 2 месяца назад

      Glancing at chips is a definite tell most people don't know about. But I'll do it intentionally now and I'm sure others do too.

    All exploits in poker have to do with the parts within others they aren't willing to face and fix. Are they overly bold, trying to prove how great they are? Are they timid and fold a lot to aggression like they were bullied through their childhood? Are they playing with Ego instead of logic? Exploits are exploiting the deeper parts of someone that they themselves don't want to acknowledge, that's why they still have the exploits. Deep down if you want to play high level anything, it will turn into therapy and you'll learn more about yourself and why you do what you do.

    • @stylin40s
      @stylin40s 2 месяца назад +2

      It's sad, but true. If you don't search yourself to find your faults then someone is exploiting them. Whether it's your boss at work, your parents, your spouse/SO, someone is using you for their benefit and they aren't willing to do as much for you as you'll do for them. And when it comes to poker if you have a weakness be assured there ARE people looking to find it and cash in. That's what exploits are.

    The study of humans isn't a science in the same way as other sciences because of our ethics / codes of conduct.
    Plus he's pioneering the more systemic approach.
