      @@dweuromaxx Perhaps the Average German and climate change, whether they believe it’s true, what they are willing to do personally to combat it, what they think the German government should do, etc? Not inherently a humorous subject, but you seem adept at injecting a bit of humor into any subject!

    The Average German videos are brilliant. I like the omnipotent ghost narrator (Clare) and how Michael can never find it. The last line of the video of how it feels to support England is too close to heart. Also, Clare’s Adidas shoes are so cute. Keep up the great work, team

    Really enjoyed this video and the tone with which it was delivered. Question from Canada. It looks like every country, in Europe, has football leagues that have a few teams that will ever win their championship. Does this not get boring? Can you do a video on football team ownership in Germany, DW?

    • @user-sc2ut3zv6d
      @user-sc2ut3zv6d Месяц назад +1

      Hi from Germany. It doesnt really as there is competition for getting into European championships and for some clubs not going to the second league. Love it every year ❤

    • @u.p.1038
      @u.p.1038 29 дней назад

      It is not about winning only. It is also about reaching the Champions and Europa league and avoiding relegation to the 2nd league. Every country has also a Cup tournament besides the league that is less dominated by the big clubs. Teams in Germany dont have owners, they are clubs owned by their members.

    • @GoodOldErin
      @GoodOldErin 27 дней назад

      Yes, it DOES get more and more boring. Thanks to the big amounts of money from the UEFA Champions' League the big teams of the different countries become more and more dominant. So there is almost no diversity in becoming national champions anymore. For example in Germany, it was Bayern Munich who was 11 times champion in a row before FINALLY Bayer 04 Leverkusen managed its first win ever this year. I think almost every other club celebrated this as if it was its own win.

    The Average German and Their Special Relationship with Football 1407PM 22.6.24 SO SPECIAL...? I NEVER WANTED TO BE SPECIAL. IT DENOTES BEING LESS THAN A FULL SHILLING and/or mentally defunkt. i don't like to share. they never liked to share with me, simple. but....football. excellent!! they like a beer and like a game so they, the europeans, can't be all that bad. p.s i just went to get my mother some printer ink and walking over the road to the bus station i thought: yeah, i could do with one, with a pint (or ten!!)... jeeeez....not out of some overt need or desire to sate the latent alcholic but coz.... on days such as these... and on nights such as those. yeah, germans would understand....
