Simon and Geon are good keyboard friends
Simon, when would you recommend driving in downtown bussy town with the W1-AT to avoid rush hour?
I would not, something more compact like an iS0 would be better for sure
I am a weeb
I'd say try top mount. It feels more consistent imo. I found the board is too deep with CRP and 204 lubed cherries. I compensated for the pitch with DCS
I love my W1-AT! Thanks for the review.
Interested in how Paul will build yours if you're still planning on having him build it.
Edit: grammar
He's gonna meme it

Great review! I was able to get one of the few Crayon W1 during the drop. I went basic cherry mx blacks spring swapped with 205g0, 1.6mm pcb, GMK, default layout (all possible stabs) and the default tadpoles. Overall, I really love the sound and feel of the board! Its super loud (especially the spacebar) and it feels flexy enough for me. I do agree that the layout is very Weird and took some time to get used to. After 2 week, I changed the full right shift for a split so that I can have HHKB arrows. I now see this board as a WKL 60%+numpad+8 mod keys. It really is a fun board to use!
이건 하우징이 무슨 색상인가요? 실버컬러 같으면서도 아닌 것 같네요.
can i use gat yellows or pros with this pcb ?
Yeah should be fine
hi simon i have a montage coming in soon any advice on building it? thinking of doing pc plate, desoldered broken in cherry/greetechs from razer/corsair board plus og doubleshot or gmk. going for a "classic" sound but not ultra harsh on the bottom out feel-wise.
Sure why not, if I'm not mistaken, it was meant to be a more stiff sandwich mount experience, but as long as you've also got a stock plate to play with, go for it
thanks keybort friend
Great review as always! :)
ISO Enter + Long LShift is superior :D
Can we sometimes maybe get some soundtests with Abs caps :'3
I can forgive mod tilde and mod pipe, but that mod colour key in the middle of the numpad is a crime against humanity.
Sadly the $21 dyesub set didn't have a 00 key :(
here I am once again asking for a proper screw review with sizes and thread standards smh
👀
How is the "top mount" done? I understand tadpoles aren't used but beyond that, do you screw the PCB into the top piece?
Yup! There are screws instead of the tadpoles that you can use to top mount it.
great video simon. great job with the board too 😉
less than an hour long smh my head
Omg
what a thumbnail, HOM
i think this simon fella is a good keyboard friend
Great review Simon! thanks for your streams.
obvious bait
Layout support is everything you would ever want… except for split spacebar unfortunately
