so 5000 to 6500 kelvin
everything under 5k should fit to cozier looking figures and everythin colder should look good on scify. i think all lights can look good
except for direct light sources like exposed led's :,D
thats when my eyes are bleeding those lights will always be brighter than the thing they shine on, doesnt make any sense to me (maybe if you have a space/star sky theme going? idk)

5:59 I do like the look of it, but I don’t like figures completely out on shelves. I have a few figures on my shelves and dusting is a nightmare, especially Nendoroids as they’re constantly falling apart trying to dust them.
I have 3 cats in my house and dust is a nightmare, even though I hoover my rooms twice per day.
I only have 1 cat and dust is still a pain. I don't mind the prize tier figures being out in the open but I hate dusting my nendo shelf is always annoying for the same reason, the electric air duster helps but it's no replacement for the makeup brushes.
@@azulleth9401Yea I have 27 Nendoroids out on my shelves (I have another 20 in boxes unopened), some I bought especially for putting beside the manga so there’s nothing I can do about them, but I have 10 Fate Nendo’s out that I’m going to put into a case, I bought a smaller Ikea case that I’ll use for them. Because I hate dusting those.

The Lighting isn't cheap or to expensive, I made a mistake and bought RBG lights so the white light is made from the RBG which is why it has a blue tint, the light settings where only on the 3rd setting but they get bright quickly, I should have kept them on the lowest setting to reduce the glare and blue tint. The temps are low inside the PC but that Zero Two is a fake I'd never put real figure inside a PC.
I cut Acrylic support poles to replace most of the wooden ones because they blend in better. You mentioning figures on one leg reminds me of the recent despair I had when the Dark Angel Olivia ripped off her foot peg, the wing pegs where not the right size and I used to much force trying to get them into the slots on her back. I've fixed it but I had to sand down wing pegs and re paint any paint damage.
If your still doing the room reviews next year I will send the finished collection/room, it should look better once I've added the backgrounds and other things to further improve the displays which also makes the figures look better, I'll need about 9 pictures but I'll make sure the pictures are better because I was not happy with most of the ones I sent this time but that's what I get for rushing and bring lazy.
Ahhh that explains why the LEDs are bluish. Yes, the RGB ones tend to shift blue a lot. And oh, putting a bootleg inside the PC is a good idea.

@@EXkurogane Thanks for the info on the camera needing to be cleaned to help reduce glare I'll make sure there is no glare and hardly any tint next time .. I derped on that. Yes I really like Yaya. I have my own story about the Purple heart Figure one of the holes for the side skirt metal rods was to small and I snapped a fin off it trying to force it in, I ended up fixing it and taking a small power drill to make the metal rod fit
1:40:17 Yea I completely agree with that, there’s no point in buying loads of Konosuba Pop Up Parades, there’s loads of scales of those characters, just get them instead.
But are way more expensive and most of them not in classic costumes - you need more reasons?
@@small_world_official Rather than buy 5 Pop Up Parades buy 1 good scale, and there’s loads of scales of Megumin in her regular costume, I just got one a few days ago, the Anime Opening Version by Kadokawa.

Yeah, generally when painting models, you either just paint everything but the important internal joints, or if you have to paint them, you sand them down a bunch. Guess that's something we all have to learn the hard way.
My problem was several layers of spray can paint on joints LOL. I believe it's airbrushed it'd be fine.
@@EXkurogane Yeah, that'll do it. Even then, you're gonna need some hella strong primer to make sure that paint doesn't immediately rub off. Hopefully I can send in some pictures of my figures and painted models to you too, after I rearrange some furniture.

Sega also make a nurse outfit version which I actually got yesterday with my March shipment. I also just bought the Kotobukiya figure of her from a girl on My Figure Collection 2 days ago for €200, really happy as it’s hard to find.

Yea I just got that nurse version, it arrived yesterday, it actually has great likeness to her. But the quality isn’t great. I’ve just bought the other Sega & Noodle topper from AmiAmi, and picked up the Kotobukiya from a person on MFC.
