Gridman Rikka - Figure is a great price. May have to pick one up.
Date A Bullet White Queen - Would love to get this but it is way over priced. 70k for 1/7 scale is crazy. Even the normal ver is 40k. The 1/7 Azure Lane figure with the display case was 40k. The Arknights Lappland is 46k. Shame that a figure like this gets so overpriced.
Nahida Chibi Resin - As someone who doesn't collect resin figures, something like these Genshin Chibi figures have me interested in maybe getting some of these even tho they are resin. The price isn't to bad on these if you get a few of them and some of them look really good.

I have always been interested in the PJ Studio pieces. They look really nice so very useful to hear that information about issues with their earlier releases. Some day I hope to pick at least a couple for my collection.
The last figure you had looked pretty awesome for just ~$350. The other one that caught my interest was Lappland. I play Arknights, but I can't really justify spending that much for the DX. I will just wait and see if it gets a discount on release or pass on it.

19:29 Yea that looks a bit expensive, I payed ¥44k for the White dress Albedo by FuRyu & I think that looks better than this, a little bit more elaborate than this.
Speaking of Arknights figures, I'm still hoping Msia can get the Skadi The Corrupting Heart figure. Been waiting since release and most of the local sellers (pre-order) can't get hold of any. Damn.
3:41 This bunny reminds me of the Nagatoro bunny, the pose is very similar. I might get that Nagatoro bunny, I’m currently reading the manga and there’s only 3 figures of her, and the 2 others aren’t great.
But I do like them bringing out 1/6 bunnies, I really don’t want to get into 1/4 figures, I already have a few Prime1 Berserk 1/4 statues and they take up so much room.

The Fate Saber Alter Pendragon Motorcycle statue looks weird her legs are too long. It looks like two different people worked on the statue one on the bike and one on the rider. Once the two pieces came together, they saw the bike was too big and tall for her legs, so they did the lazy thing and just stretched her legs to fit
6:34 Yea the support rod rules it out for me, I absolutely hate support rods, they should have designed the figure so it wasn’t needed, have a concrete pillar to the side that it keys into, or position the gun in a different way. The vast majority of these figures that have support poles it’s down to bad design.
Like the China dress Albedo by FuRyu, they could have easily had slots that insert into the base to support it rather than use poles.

28:22 dude wtf . Girl Band Cry 3D CGI sooo good , i try re-watching other 3D CGI anime after that feels like they were made from 20 years ago . (except Houseki no Kuni) .
the plot is very good too , every quarrel in the show is damn spicy.
The CGI is definitely way better than many other Anime, but it was a bit unsettling. It's like the CGI and key animation parts don't blend well. I have yet to see any production company mix 2D and 3D better than Ufotable, Bandai, and perhaps A1 & Cloverworks.
What type of camera do you use to shoot this video? I need to buy a camera next week for similar videos and I haven’t got a clue about cameras. Will any Canon or Nikon that shoot 4K video be fine?
For figure news fix i use a nikon Z30, while my figure reviews often use at least 2 cameras for different perspectives. That's when I use my nikon Z6. There's a new Z6iii model that just came out a week ago but that thing is a USD$2500 video powerhouse.
As for my recommendations for you, budget models, you can look into Canon R50 or R10. With nikon the only thing I can recommend at the moment is Z30 (Z50 is old and a new model is coming out soon in a few months). For Sony, ZV-E10 or A6700. But, take note that ZV-E10 ii is coming out in July - if you want a Sony you might want to wait for this new budget model.
Speaking of 4K, there are 3 things you need to know:
1. I only film 4k for figure reviews but downsize to 1080p after editing, because it makes the 1080p video sharper and higher quality. I don't film 4k for figure news.
2. RUclips makes people watch low quality 1080p unless they subscribe to RUclips premium. So, i don't see a point in uploading 4k videos when 80% of my viewers don't even get to see high quality 1080p, not to mention 4k.
3. The budget models i recommended you above may overheat after filming for long time in 4k. If you record maybe 10 minutes long each video, then it shouldn't be a problem. My Z30 definitely cannot record an hour of 4k like what i do with figure news. Usually only more expensive models (like Sony A6700) or bigger cameras like full frame models, my nikon Z6 included, will not have overheating problems.
I guess you noticed a difference in this week's news video compared to previous uploads? Actually there are 3 factors. I moved my table further away from the wall / shelf behind, repositioned the direction of my lights, and I used a different, more expensive lens with larger aperture to create a separation and blur off the background. Different lens on the same Z30 camera.

Pardofelis is an older character. Arctic hasnt worked on any of the new characters from HI3 Part 2 as of yet, theyre focusing only on older characters.

Rikka Takarada: Blue Sky Station. It's not normally the type of figure I would get and I feel like there is nothing special about this (I didn't even enjoy the anime hugely, it was just OK). Yet I keep coming back to this figure....

@@yulusleonard985 thanks. I’ll be honest I never got the Azur Lane vibes from this. Azur Lane characters usually have large breasts and battleship related. I got neither of that from this. Still nice though, I pre-ordered just now too but the wait is long….

As usual it started as a viral infection but by day 3 bacterial infection took over, got really bad that i went to a specialist straight away to get 2 different kinds of antibiotics by Thursday morning. If I was even half a day late in seeing the doctor, or i had seen a general practitioner instead of a specialist, there would be no video today. It was really close. The antibiotics i took are something that can only be prescribed by a specialist.
