Street photography for me is capturing the time, light, spirit and emotions of a moment in a location. When you look at the photo years later, the time, light, spirit and emotions of that moment are flooding back to you in an instant.
Time is a very important aspect of street and documentary photography. I would love to go back to my photos decades later and see the contradiction between now and then.
well, i see you progressively go to 35mm or wide angle shots arm. Interesting, and nice job as well. I like your photos and your thoughts. BUT i am a 50 and 85mm lover, i like exactly what you said it is not the "heart" of photo. I like bokeh, cine look, atmosphere, dark smoky moody appearence. Ive never been on documentary type of photography. I prefer "artistic" approach. Ill continue to follow you. Beside preferences, i must admitt you re great photographer. Thank you for your time...
Thank you for all the support Andrea. I just want to make clear that I won't abandoned shooting at 50 or 85mm and I am not going to stop shooting the mood and the cinematic scenes. What I am saying is that I want to use all of these features as tools to deliver stories. It is not a change of direction. It is an evolution of the current one. Thanks for being a part of the channel!
What is street photography for you? Thanks for watching!
