Went through and watched all on this car. Looks just like my crossfire. I have no errors. Cannot even get the car to come out of park, unless use area by the shifter. It is in the shop now. When it went in, it would crank. Now it will not crank. This series is the best out. Thanks.
Good evening Janne Karpanen!!! listen, my 2 relays work well together. But still no access to TCM.....Damn.....Thank you very much wowhhh well done, with your knowledge I thought it would be resolved, me here in France, I have my SLK R170 which no longer gives me access to ECM EGS etc..... it's complicated, thank you again for your video!!
Hi Wyatt this one was a pain 🤗, lots of testing trying not to order an ECU unnecessarily, for some reason I always feel the heat making an ECU call ... I’ll try to the screen capture on more often I agree it makes easier to follow along for sure , thanks for visit my man see you in part 2 👍👍👍👍
I have same issue with my 2005 Chrysler Crossfire. Here in the US to get a new computer and keys and security module is way more than you quoted. No one wants to work on the Crossfires here in the States. I wish we had a guy like you here in Maryland. USA local to me. Chrysler nor Mercedes wants to touch this car with a ten-foot pole, although it is a Mercedes. I guess these is more support in Britan? Than the states . I love my little flame red coupe even though it has been sitting since October. I have been on the Crossfire forum but everyone is far from me. So I am trying to learn as much as I can about this car. The electronics are way to much overkill for such an old car that are making our car worthless.
Finally have time to catch up! Lol schools out for summer yay 🤗😆 That's a lot of wire testing Igor but good for you being sure and not throwing parts at it 👍 Looking forward to part 2 now cause the roast isn't ready yet. It is but it isn't shhhhhhhh .... 🤐😉😂😂
Niamh Healy yeah this one was an absolute pain so much testing 🥵... I don’t see a lot of modules failure and it’s so hard to me to call it but we made sure the home work was done 😉😁👍👍👍
Thanks Igor...1st comment....and a Mercedes..mines is a C180 Kompressor 'Evolution' coupe..33000 on it and it's a sept 06 plate...thank for another vid...best wishes from Edinburgh 🚗🚗
Paul Graham 1st I like that 👍🙌 thanks mate... I’ve got a couple more videos for this slk and funny enough the next video after it will be a 2006 CLK 320 CDi limp mode not revving over 3000 rpm 👍
@@CarsExposed great stuff...going insane here in the flat....phase 2 lockdown ease starts here from thursday 18th so hopefully i'll be back out driving the buses in edinburgh within a few weeks...
Paul Graham Hopefully not long now Paul I bet you can’t wait to be out and about , dealing with the public is a bit tricky but make sure to wear a mask and you should be alright 👍
Johnny's Speed Shop that was mate 🥵😊 I hate condeming an ECU or expensive modules but we managed to get some 2nd hand ones so is not going to break the bank 😉... We will get mate 👍👍👍 cheers
I'm pretty sure on a CAN network you should see network activity coming out of the module, most modules don't have a nice separate connector just for the CAN lines so you need to depin them. On a LIN network then yes you have the master and node arrangement. Looking forward to part 2.
Malcolm Symonds thanks for your input Malcolm, I’m pretty green when it comes to immobiliser but in this case with the DAS module it will only communicate on request from the ECU ... part 2 will be publish tomorrow or Monday 👍
Thanks for the video, I’m currently having the same issue with my 2003 slk 320. I was told that the DAS module could only be installed by the the dealer because it has to be programmed by them. Not sure how much truth there is to that...anyway, I’m looking forward to part two.

@@CarsExposed I guess it doesn't want to be shouting out to everyone the immobiliser secrets, the information is on a need to know basis🕵️
I agree I think that’s the ideia 🤗👍👍👍
How's she goin'? What a nice car and it won't start!!! You're on the case though so it will be starting soon I would bet!!! Take care!!
