I appreciate the effort and information in this video. However, I've been told many times it's best to use magnesium sulfate for bloat [not table salt]. Also, just to note, the music and the spun text is rather agitating.
My fish had swim bladder problems because of bloating and gulpers that like to gorge. Most probably won’t agree with this method but it’s a little old school and works. I pulled Willie out and put him in a glass bowl. Put the bowl in a spot so he couldn’t see me come in the room. Grabbed a metal spoon, snuck up on him and wacked the glass a few times and scared the 💩 right out of him. 😏 He was happy and back to wiggling just fine. Put him back in with his buddies and he relieved himself in peace and not bloated anymore.. Oh this method works superb on skittish fish like a pro.. Js
I used cooking salt sea salt, and it works..I just cured mine less than 5 minutes, I dip her into a small bucket with salt 1 tblspn, after a few minutes I tapped the bucket to make sure she's still alive, then I pushed her upper stomach just below her spine and I feel two bubbles came out of her, I repeat once one bubble came out then she's back to normal again. I never felt so happy in my life lol
I have small fish and it is swelling too much i am afraid to explore,,,, she is i think small kind of gold fish, what kind of salt should i use? What should i do,,, i am do sad
You want to put fish in a5 gallon bucket with EOSON salt not api aquarium salt. Than return to tank. Treat everyday for a week, or until problems disappear.
Aquatic king my Oscar is swimming in a erratic way, Every five min my Oscar swim in a circle motion facing bottom of tank for a few seconds and goes back to normal,I noticed his abdomen kinda swollen,Is he bloated? what should I do ?
Your intent is good but you did not let people know it has to be epsom salt for the bath. Also should the cucumber be cooked? It would be nice if you posted the captions without the spinning. It's a waste of time when you just want to know what to do
Hi! I have neon tetras and I just got two more today. I just fed them and I noticed one of my new tetra looks bloated. He is a very tiny fish and I just wanted to ask you if I can do anything for him. Since he is so tiny however, I didn’t know if he would be okay.😬
no! not regular that isn't good at all for ur fish!! :( aquarium is better, but i would prefer epmon salt. it can be bought from walmart or fish aquariums stores. :-) Epmon can wipe every fish disease!
What is it when my fishies bellies are big but they swim just fine? I have 4 little grey turning red minnows two have big bellies but they swim just fine I did give them some cucumber like 10 mins ago
I think there is a connection between fish bloat and constipation and over feeding. I am guilty of that, feeding too much to ensure that every fish has plenty to eat. Every single time I over feed at least one fish comes down with bloat. And my tiger barb succumbed to that disease too. Could kick myself in the rear for over feeding sometimes.
I have done dips before and they work great, at times it is difficult if it is a fast fish you have to isolate and get out of a large aquarium. But a gold fish is usually easier.

What we call 'bloat' in the industry is typically related to kidney failure. This is when the fish bloats because fluids are building up. These fish aren't bloated. Floating issues are caused by constipation, which is common with most types of fish due to improper feeding. The swim bladder organ (much like a balloon) is connected to the intestinal tract by a tiny tube where Co2 is exchanged. Carbon dioxide is created from the waste in the tract, and utilized by the swim bladder. If the tract becomes impacted, the gas becomes trapped in the bladder, causing the fish to rise uncontrollably. Peas do keep a fish from getting constipated, but not all types of fish should be fed peas. Here's the safe and effective fix for this issue the-organic-fish.com/float-remedy/

Scared the shit out of the fish. what a brilliant method
@ Sarcasm or not it’s a proven method that was used in the 70’s before technology and modern medications and treatments.
Why in the world did you think it is a good idea to spin the text? Thanks for the video, though.
