Experience was so difficult for the body to handle that it registered it as trauma (I've obviously simplified it a lot) but do read the book - myth of Normal for detailed information on why trauma occurs.
Isn’t the human nervous system built to handle trauma? In normal cases it shouldn’t get dis-regulated by it, should it? But I understand it does happen. Hence the issues. Maybe it’s when a person is in trauma mode for an unnatural, extended period of time for the damage to happen & take shape. But how much time? Does it vary from person to person? Is there ever a come back from this mess? In reality, is there anything such as a painless or pain free birth giving process for women? Or any way to reduce pain and the struggle of child birth? Could you please do a video on that? Or please just let me know if you have done a video on it. Thank you! P.S. Nice animation by the way! Pete :”)
Excellent questions. But unfortunately can't answer it all in a comment. This is exactly what's explained in Gabor mate's Books - When the body says No & The myth of Normal. I highly recommend these books because I might take time to make videos on all this. I will deal with trauma again but sex-ed, parenting & intimacy videos will come in between. So it might take some time. 😊❤️
@@mayasamma-malayalam4666 Oh yeah! Sure sure! Yes I can understand. I didn’t expect answers to all my questions any ways. Just sharing some thoughts that popped up. I know you could make entire video series on every single thought I had. 😄 Also do child birth videos please. Does this come under sex-ed or parenting? Probably somewhere in between. 😅 Keep going please. I’m happy to follow the trauma series! Thank you for your reply! Pete :”)
@@mayasamma-malayalam4666 Yes I know dear that the animation isn’t your work. Just appreciating your effort. I had seen a couple of UK universities mentioned! Thank you very much! Pete :”)
@@alwayspete childbirth is part of comprehensive sex ed because childbirth has body, consent, boundaries and autonomy as part of it.. Its also part of parenting as that's where parenting begins. It's actually part of life as everyone needs to understand the Physiology of birth to understand how much we've deviated from nature too and it helps us to understand why birthing is so tough for us these days ..
Awaiting part 2... 🥰
Wonderfully expalined ❤😊😊. 👏
