Why is it necessary to go to bed when there is so much to learn from VCV and Omri ;)
Sleeping is for children! Not that they do it though... ;)
Sleeping is overrated...
SLEEP IS WRONG!
i know I am pretty randomly asking but do anyone know a good website to watch newly released tv shows online?
Not entirely sure how I missed this first time around but there’s some top shelf tips in here Omri, cheers!
Happy to help!
Some excellent ideas here for my hardware Ochd- thanks!
Glad to help!
Oh so nice man! I always get so great ideas from you from the most seemingly benign concepts. Like from these innocent offset LFOs... There is always so much more :)
Yeah, I also love the fact that there's always something new to learn :)
Really interesting ideas, Omri! I enjoyed this a lot. It makes me wonder how developers feel when people find so many new ways to use their modules. It must be very gratifying!
Totally genius, had no idea you can control øchd like that!
Cheers! Have fun :)
Thank you for this!
My pleasure!
It's such a beautiful module but challenging to see why.. when you started sending the reverb and lowered the frequencies .. that section got me super inspired
It's amazing how a 'simple' triangle LFO can be unique and inspiring... Cheers!
Thank you very much, Omri. I had compared Ochd with 8FO the other day and wondered how it could be used in a usefull way within a patch. Modulating the rate of Ochd using the slope detector is a really nice idea. I also often wondered where you could use the slope detector in a usefull way ^^. Thanks again.
Glad it was helpful!
That's a lot of nice uses for such a seemingly simple module. Very clever offering from Instruo. I'm sloowly learning the different ones in their initial vcv pack, it feels a lot more manageable to adopt a new utility module than learn a whole new complex oscillator :) But that last demo with the Saïch had a very pleasant sound, I'm going to have to figure that one out.
Yeah, it's amazing how many sonic possibilities are to be explored even with a 'simple' module as this one... Have fun!
Excellent stuff Omri! Don't know why I didn't think of freezing the rate by sending it negative cv
Thanks! Yeah, that's a nice feature of Ochd and fun to use with all sorts of gates.
Great ideas, i'll try some.
You will be able to add to this with the Ochd Expander if it comes in VCV.
Thx.
I hope they will add the expander, yes. That will be very cool!
Thx a lot, have a nice day 😃
You too!
What range are you using for the ADDR-SEQs?
It's -10/+10v
@@OmriCohen-Music cool thanks!
Thanks a lot for your inspiration! Are you planning on doing a video for a few more of the new instruo modules? I love them and watched all of the videos on his channel, but I cannot figure out how to access the parameters you can get from the hardware modules by clicking two buttons at the same time (like programming the harmonaig chord types 1 - 4 for example)
These parameters can be found in the context menu if you right click on the module :)
@@murdograham8110 I'm pretty sure that those are not implemented (yet). The right click menu for the harmonaig has the "modal selection" and the "Module Mode" Selections, but not the possibility to program custom chords into the chord quality settings 1 to 4. On Page 16 of the manual (which is that of the hardware module) is explained that to enter program mode you have to hold the transpose button and double tap on the diatonic button. But that is simply not possible with one mouse pointer :P - I am totally fine with it, as I am hoping they will add that functionality in an update.
Yeah, I'm working on it :)
No "opala" in this video ;) Thanks again Omri.
Cheers!
Can you do a make a synth videos
