great ideas and lot of deeper details on Neoni functionality. i watched Intruo video as well, and seems quite stable for a TZ implementation. i'm looking for a new TZFM osc, and narrowed down to Neoni or Operat. do have one critique tho: i find that continous use of too much reverb gets rather fatiquing. it drowns every single modular demo nowadays.
Thanks! Yeah, I cannot do anything without reverb... I know that it's not the best practice but it feels weird not to use it. Maybe I can take it down a bit though.
reverb isn't necessary. it's helpful to be able to hear what a module sounds like without any processing / effects... unless you think it's more important to showcase stylistic / aesthetic preference, which is entirely subjective.
I watched the Instruo video, the section on through zero: he says something which I didn't quite get about the button below the FM input. If I understood him, pushing it somehow enables the CV that is usually for wave folding as an additional modulation source for FM. I may have this wrong but if not, it might eliminate extra stuff you are using round about 20-22 minutes.
He he he, something missing in your face ;-) ... Christmas cleanup ????... great presentation as usual, very interesting modules and sounds ... exactly my taste ;-)
There are few demos of Neóni on YT. Question: I am looking for a very musical VCO that is brilliant in the higher frequencies, ie a sort of transparent quality, something opposite of supersaws, if that makes sense... It's hard to explain as taste and references are subjective. It seems to me that Neóni could be such an oscillator. I watched some of your music videos featuring Neóni, but it's hard to tell which VCO is responsible for a particular sound.... Could Neóni be the one? Alternatively, are you able to give me some other suggestions? Thanks for your excellent demos!
Hi! I really like Neoni, but I'm not so sure if I understand what you mean... You can get unique sounds with its fold output, and also by using its FM functionality. But again, I'm not so sure if that's what you're looking for. Can you give me a few examples of music or sounds you liked and are in this direction?
@@OmriCohen-Music It's not easy. I think I know when I hear it... It's a feeling, I guess. I reckon I need more examples from Neóni.. So far I think I know this: Some of the tones in this video (5 patching ideas with Neóni) are in the direction of what I'm looking for, that's why I thought "Neóni may be it!". I guess another way of saying it, is that Neóni comes across as very musical. Even the wavefolder of Neóni seems more musical than others. Do you agree? Thanks for answering 🙏
@@axis_8 No worries :) I really like the wavefolder on it, yes. As I said, I use it a lot, also in hardware, and I really like how it sounds and how it feels :)
As always, great video. Really enjoyed seeing the potential of these modules.
Glad you enjoyed it!
How fun, I was heading to Instuo's page to watch what they did with the physical version of this, and this was waiting for me.
Cheers!
Thanks Omri. Some great ideas there!
Thanks, Nik!
thanx Omri ... really strong modules ...
Cheers!
from gumroad to youtube your videos have become an unmissable event for me, you are legendary !!
I appreciate it, thank you!
I’d love to see you make a video on Pamela’s New Workout, mostly logic stuff! You are a great teacher lad!
Thanks!
Instruo modules are amazing just as your videos :D
Thank you!
Gracias Omri!! Best teacher ever 🍄
Thanks!
Very nice! Endless possibilities :)
Very cool stuff as always Omri! Thanks so much!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Wow! That sub octave trick with the tain switch is crazy! I’ll have to try it in hardware, i have that module
Yeah, that works great :) Cheers!
Nice one Omri!
Thanks!
Thanks for your video and I wish you an happy new year !!

@@OmriCohen-Music Btw what are your favourite filters?
@@axis_8 I have the Vult Freak and Vorg that I use quite a lot, and I like the Bastl Ikarie as well. It works really well with the Instruo Cruinn.

hey omri thanks for this awesome patching technique, in saw sections reminds me byetone - black peace
