Great video! Did you need to turn engine to TDC before pulling pump gear, or did you simply make the key line up?

You need to line up the timing pin that is there and push it in. That turns the gear where the keyway will be close to the top like I show in the still shot at 13:35. So what's important is the timing pin, TDC does not matter (although it could be the same, I don't know).
I do really recommend to get a copy of the instructions from the service manual. If you don't want to buy the whole book, see if your dealer will photocopy the instructions for you. It's section 3415.
Glad you liked the vid, hope it helps you! It really was a lot easier than I was expecting.

Thanks. I read that the pin does hold the motor at TDC. How far in did your pin push in? Mine went on maybe another 1/4".

@@Turbo_Todd probably about that to hit the gear, and then some more when you get to the hole. It's easy to test, just push it in, check dstance. Pop out, do a random slight turn and push again, if same, not at the hole yet. I suggest just keep pressing it in while you turn the motor. You have to hit it in two turns anyway.
