Originally filmed and set for release at the end of 2023, the 40 minutes of footage became more of an undertaking than usual to edit into a viewable 3 minute amount. As its a fragrance I hold to such high regard, Ii decided to keep the more personal elements within the video.
Hope you enjoy Minotaur as much as I do!

What was your first signature scent?

A floral cologne from Tommy Hilfiger in light blue bottle. Loved this one...

Lucky Number 6 was my first signature 😂 a soft, sexy, spicy, woody oriental fragrance that opens with plum, neroli, amber and sandalwood. I was obsessed with it lol. just picked up a 50ml bottle for 10 bucks on a discount fragrance site. still so so good lol. snagged a bottle of Minotaure as well for under $30.

I was curious about what it was so I was glad to see this. And it’s really cool to see a longer video from you, hope it’s ok to say.

Thanks heaps! Definitely worth getting your nose on it if you can find it 😊 and I always appreciate feedback, always means a lot! I love making longer form content but my metrics often tell me viewers consume about 1.5mins per video so always tossing up whether to do shorter or longer form vids (which I enjoy). I’ll definitely do more longer ones in the near future!! 😁

Ah! Now I’ve never owned this one but a friend of mine has & let me try it and it’s an excellent choice for a signature scent. And more videos of this length would be awesome 👌

Thank you!! It’s a timeless classic now and glad it played such a large role in my life. Thanks for the suggestion! I love making longer form content so the feedback is always appreciated. My metrics tell me the average viewer watches about 1.5 mins of my content per video which is roughly 50% so I’m always torn whether to keep it short or 5+ mins 😅 cheers!

The footage got vaulted until I reconstructed it last week therefore bringing season one of Fragrance Fiend to an end!

DON NOT purchase Minotaure! It’s a watered down version of its self. The perfumer Michel Almairac’s son, Benjamin Almairac created a perfume brand by the name of Parle Moi De Parfum in which he recreated his father’s beloved perfume as a gesture of homage. The perfume is called “Wake Up World.” It’s beast mode and smells exactly like the original creation I’m super surprised this reviewer didn’t know about this or cared to mention it.
He’s the link to The Perfume Guy, Sebastian’s review on this beautiful recreation.

Hi there, I did mention it’s reformulation and it specifically being watered down however we have pretty limited brands in Australia and getting my nose on things like this is near impossible so I tend to avoid talking about what I don’t have access to. Thanks 😊
