I've been playing since I was 7 (currently 16) and i had this one friend who always acted like he was better at stuff than everyone else, UNTILL it came to he and i playing piano. Lets just say, he was super embarrassed and didn't take it well either lol.
One of my teachers has an old piano in his classroom. My one friend likes to play “jingle bells” on it, but he doesn’t know the melody and is too embarrassed to try to figure it out, so he plays the whole rhythm on the E note. Like seriously, he’ll play the whole entire thing, but only on the E note. Enrages my pianist side lol
Honestly, I have never seen any of my friends touch a piano once. So I think I'm the only one in my group who does piano (FYI; I take piano classes! And this was funny for how accurate this video was, but I've gotten better and learned faster on playing the piano!)
So it's the same thing with me, only its drumset, I have a "friend" who plays the set at school every chance he gets, so what he does is he plays the classic rock beat but after he gets bored of that, he plays triplets on the hi hat, then he just whacks the thing how ever he feels like. He then proceeds to use the splash cymbal as a ride cymbal, and then he proceeds to use every cymbal as a ride, then he'll play the bell of the splash, after this he puts the stick between the crash and splash and moves the stick up and down real fast. If you think this is a lot, just you wait, he then plays a jazz beat with the brushes, I don't know how to explain what kind of ungodly technique he uses so I'll let you use your imagination. One of my last comments is that his traditional grip is gonna end him up in the hospital. I use traditional grip while playing the set, but ever since he saw me using it, he has never used another style of grip, the best way I can describe how he does traditional is if you do put the stick between your middle and ring finger and pretend your holding a cigar. I'm sad now because I used to be like "Wow, other people know these songs but I don't" so I actually learned the full version of most of these and then I didn't play them for years and now I don't remember any of them at all and I wish I did.
That's basically me practicing piano, plus some smashing the keyboard a couple of times, but it's more of frustration and anger than anything. (That is basically 90% of my practicing.) Edit: Not anymore, I actually enjoy it now since the music is actually good.
I have a piano that has a number pad, electronic pin0ano, and you type in two numbers for a specific sound variation to almost all of the keys. The two last ones are "Waves" and "Machine Gun", so when you relize you can play an entire song on the piano, I think you can see where I am going with this...
I usually use ii-V-I-VI chord progressions and play them around different scales when people suggest me to play songs that I didn't know xD Music Theory is too much for me, I rely on improvisation instead.

My old friend thinks he is a pro at piano but the only song he "knows" is stereo madness from geometry dash. The notes he plays are in the wrong notes in the wrong octave and they play a ton of extra notes. Whenever I try teaching him the right way, he screams at me and says "IT SOUNDS BETTER THIS WAY!" But everyone but him thinks it sounds like garbage. We are not friends anymore.
