- Day 50 was a milestone day onboard Mig! What is it like to be offshore for such a long time? At this point we could tell the end was in sight but we were struggling with different aspects of this extreme isolation.

LOL Emily sounds like a crack addict in withdrawals. Norm sounds like he's cracking up.
Yeah, she had a rough time with no sugar! And Norman was very close to cracking up for sure lol
some of the toughest times make the best memories
Ain’t that the truth!
Thanks for posting the hard stuff too.
Thanks for watching. I suspect there are some people that unsubscribe because of that, but I will always tell the truth on my channel.
Time at sea gets easier as you increase the run of each leg. I miss the sea and I would go back to sea if I could find the proper boat. Some like to force suffering and inconvenience as a matter of pride. But, I have spent too many years at sea to go “Go Small….Go Now”. Everybody could use a dip again when you get stir crazy. Don’t kid yourself though! You are all doing great. You really are…this is how you grow as humans. You are getting stronger every day!
I find that I agree with you. I enjoy being out there and the longer. I’m out there the more I get used to it. Norm does not feel the same way.
Beautiful the sea calls your sprit when you answer her. The ocean and all its life giving experience never leaves your soul ❤️
Great video Topher. Hang in there Norm! We're pulling for all of you!
Thank you guys!!!
Poor Norm!!! Hang in there!!
He’s still here!
Your funny and kind gives away your stash god bless you for sharing
Thanks Norm! I think I'll sell my NorSea and buy a camper! Seriously though man, I feel for ya and can't really imagine 50 plus days at sea. Geez!! From this desk chair though, it sure looks beautiful. I mean just seeing that blue water and the whale makes me think I'm jealous. I understand now though that I'm probably not. Still, even with the hard times, you guys and gal are doing something that few people ever will no matter how hard they dream. I think that's the cool part. They say life moves pretty fast. I bet 50 plus days at sea makes life seem quite the opposite of fast.
Fair winds folks
Hahaha
There aren't 2 people in all of recorded history with whom I would be interested in spending 50 days alone on a 27 foot sailboat. What an endurance test!
It sure is hard to find people that you can stand for that length of time. I am very lucky to have found both of these two.
@@SV-MigThis is why i am doing it alone.
Norms the best!!!
Haha he’s pretty great for sure!
Wow what a marathon of a trip you are having guys!! Routing for you to get to Hawaii 🎉
Thanks so much!!
Very very beautiful wonderful beautiful
Thank you so much for watching!
I really need to hop aboard for a leg and get this sailing around the world dream out of my mind. I spend my free time working on boats and dreaming or retirement but it seems like sailing a leg could cure me of the sailing addiction which would save me a lot of money and time in the long run. I wonder if my health insurance would cover such a trip?
It’s never a bad idea to take a good offshore voyage before you really commit your own money to the project!
Check out John Kretschmer Sailing! He offers true offshore passages and puts you in some real weather par for the course!
All of his future spots are all waitlisted and most are $8500. Plus I would miss all the banter of you and Norm!
