Hey Brad just bought your package of 6 for the workshop. Love your work but i was wondering if you can help an Aussie out with them in metric. The whole ft and inches confuses me 😉
Excellent video as usual. Glad to see you included your little "helpers" in the project. They will learn some responsibility and pride in helping out. 4:39
I love this mainly because I love engineering, architecture, and construction stuff. I want to be architect when I grow up but still want the manual work of engineering. I also love having things organized and equally set up
Beautiful cabinet design, simple but not plain. Uber functional and timeless AND cost effective. Also, great video, well paced with smart camera shots to augment the VO, right time, right place. It just amazes me that there are people who click the thumbs down on work like this. Obviously they need to get a different hobby, career or possibly a life.
PERFECT VIDEO! I love your content, which I can't wait to try some of these projects. Also, the way you shoot these, give concise explanations, and time the elapsed assembly, really makes watching a pleasure. As a guy with killer OCD, I appreciate the humor as well. Great job and keep them coming! 👍🏻
Hey Brad, thanks for another great video! Definitely something I need to add to my own shop. And thanks for having an awesome channel. Channels like yours have inspired me to share my own adventure into RUclips and woodworking. Thanks again and keep the great videos coming!👍👏
Just a quick tip on the t-nuts. If you're installing them on softwood such as pine, it's a good idea to add a screw to the outside of the t-nut to keep them from turning or coming loose. I first saw John Heisz and Jay Bates do this.
I bought these plans and want to let everyone know how excellent they are! Very accurate and simple to follow. The cabinets were very easy to assemble. Had I not had several projects going at once, I would have finished these in a couple of days. If anyone is considering these as on option, you won't regret it! I was originally going to stay with only the lower cabinets, but now am going to purchase the plans for the uppers as well!
The cabinets look great, Brad and love the smaller footprint! Thanks for the video! And the OCD is definitely worth it ;) I spent most of my woodworking time last year building a shed in our backyard to make more room in the shop (garage) and CANNOT WAIT to start building some cabinets, tool carts, and other storage. Thanks for the inspiration!!
I found it! This was the one I was looking for. I’m making my cabinets 20” deep. I’m modifying slightly form yours since I am doing 5 24” wide cabinets. Or… maybe 6. The 6th may end up being just a cabinet on wheels that I can pull in and out when needed. Still deciding. LOL.
You can't say you have OCD when you allow for 1/64" error on your storage trays... Anything less than 2 thou and I'm remaking the entire cabinet. I'm glad to see another FTBT video! Your shop projects are always my favorite. You motivate me to organize my shop! Thanks Brad
Well being a builder like yourself, only makes sense why you have OCD. But I gotta say it's the extra detail that you do that makes your work different from everyone else's 👌
@@Fixthisbuildthat only thing I would have done differently is added a nut to the leg to lock it in place against the insert. little extra security to keep it level.
Almost finished with my base cabinet build from this plan! I got in on the Christmas deal for $29 for the set of 5 (I believe). Looking forward to finishing up this one and moving on to the other cabinets I need to build. Thanks Brad!
That was amazing!! They look beautiful!! I love your videos, you are very thorough in your explanations and instructions. Peace and Good Fortune to you and your family.
Great build Brad! I love how I can take some of your methods for streamlining the building process. Like those rounded 3/4” ply you taped together and cut at once, I can totally do that with my corn Hole feet. Right now my process is cutting each individual leg out with a jig saw haha
Another great project / video! I could really use a few of these cabinets in my garage. Your projects are exceptional and appreciate you sharing your plans. Have to add these to my garage shop!
Great work brad, already commented on Instagram but I love how you make these projects seem so approachable and you give some really great tips along the way. Some people may not like pocket holes but they can apply more advanced joinery methods to this project if they like and tailor it to suit their preferences.
I stead of carriage bolts you should look into elevator bolts. They have a large flat head and great for leveling feet. I use them on metal tables I make
Another great video, and a nice functional yet aesthetically pleasing design. I know you used leftovers, but for people needing to buy materials it would be helpful to throw in a ballpark materials costs per build. Great work!
Enjoyable video and your editing is outstanding. I really like the shadow line between the doors and top. Can't say I agree with the door cubbies only because it prohibits you from making pull out shelves for that cabinet. You'll have to stand on your head to find those glue bottle jammed in the back.....especially on that top shelf. In my opinion all base cabinets need pull out shelves or better yet, drawers. Either way, it sure is a handsome piece of furniture for your shop. Well done.
Yup, I prefer the pull outs but I couldn't do them because of the cabinet to the left and door interference. So figured I'd show another option. And since they are only 20" deep vs 24 it's not so bad as long as you store big stuff down there. Thanks for watching 👍👍
Why don't you use soft close door hinges and drawer slides. Did you edge band plywood? Great build though. Looks great. Just finished one half of this project. Had a blast.
Thanks so much Brad! These are beautiful! The plans for the she shed are out to the contractors for bids. I’ve got troughs designed in the cement floor so the electrical can be ran in the floor and my cords under machines, not on top, or extension cords. When they ask why, I’ve learned to just say women are allowed to change their minds. Truth is, I don’t want to be stuck with a saw, jointer, etc in a place that someone else planned. These will come in really handy! I’m short, all base cabinets will be too lol. So what I need you to do in the next six months or so, is show how to make upper cabinets have a pull out and down hinge....I won’t need a ladder then ;). Please...(almost forgot my manners)

Hey Brad just bought your package of 6 for the workshop. Love your work but i was wondering if you can help an Aussie out with them in metric. The whole ft and inches confuses me 😉
Seeing as how I just spent 2 hours in my garage trying to decide what I'm going to do for cabinets, your timing is perfect! 👍👍👍
Awesome, hope it helps!
Me 2!
Excellent video as usual. Glad to see you included your little "helpers" in the project. They will learn some responsibility and pride in helping out. 4:39
finally. i get to learn from someone else's mistakes. love the cabinets. They could be made even for a basic kitchen.
Stay tuned, I have lots of mistakes to give 😀
Man I love the look of these cabinets. Simple. Sleek. And not reject kitchen cabinets!
Yeah, I've had a few thrown out kitchen shop cabinets in my day :)
I love this mainly because I love engineering, architecture, and construction stuff. I want to be architect when I grow up but still want the manual work of engineering. I also love having things organized and equally set up

Thanks for the feedback, Craig!
Brad you rock...the work you share inspires me to create! Thank you!
Simply beatiful. This doesn't belong in a shop - this is true furniture grade stuff!
Could definitely work in a kitchen too!

Nice simple way to make leveling feet. Thanks for the tip.
You are the god of plywood craft.😉👏👏👏

Another great video Brad. You're the best shop cabinet maker around!
Thank you, Jay! I do love building shop cabinets 😀

Best way to do levelling feet! 👍
you know it, Kris!

That build is perfect for my chemistry set with a Teflon countertop👍
I’m a welder by trade and love this channel! Who new working with wood would be so awesome! Must try it sometime!

Wonderful; the O.C.D. in me bows to and honors the O.C.D. in you. Great build.
OCD respects OCD 😂😂
I may make some of these for my son's room to keep things organized.
They would work great inside too!
Nice easy video to watch. I have being thinking about cleaning up my workshop and this will do the trick
Always be one with your OCD. Very nice work. Gives me some ideas for organizing
Oh snap! It’s organization time!!
Organization time is all the time!!!
Love this build , peeve for our small 2 car garage.

Glad it helped!
Great job. Love the cheap-o levelers!

just purchased your plans from the site. Great information thank you!
Thx for the support!
Nice work Brad, love watching your shop organization projects. 2019 the year of shop organization!
Oh yeah, I have a ton planned for this year!
Shaun Guthrie my org plans start with a few big garbage bags !
Thank you
Just subscribed after watching a few of your videos. You have some really great ideas. Keep up the good work.
Gary, thanks for the sub 👍
Great Job!
Nice, I recommend using a hex bolt for the legs so you can adjust it with a wrench while the cabinet is in place, loaded up and heavy
The carriage bolts have a square neck you can turn easily with a wrench 👍
Nice job, clean no fuss storage.
Just how I like it!
Just picked up the plans. Can't wait to get started!!
Looks great Brad! I'm about to do some shop renovations myself and I think I might try these out.
They are such a nice addition!
again...you did a good job. this is one of my favourite wood working channels
Thank you so much!
I really like the large slide out tray idea. Nice work!
Thanks!

There's a scarcity of Baltic Birch here, I used standard birch for my dressers and many voids and chipping problems.
Now i wanna go down to the home reuse recycling center and buy some old kitchen cabinets and build a super work bench in my basement workshop.
Sweet build once again; I especially liked the door cubbies and the bottom tray. 👍🏻👍🏻
It's the little stuff that helps make a project really become custom for you.
Very impressed. You do outstanding work. Keep it up, you are giving me motivation
Those cabinets are awesome! Really loving the clean birch look to them and all the additional storage options!
Thanks, David!
My favorite DIY channel!
Thanks!
Great Cabs
Happy, happy
Excellent video Brad, thank you! Your shop looks great!
I don’t know why but this is so satisfying. I also have OCD!!
glad you liked it!
Nice job again! I need to build and organization cabinet to hold all my junk to have room to build organization in my shop.
Hahahaha, fix the junk before you fix more junk
Great job i want to copy this project i put outdoor
I just got that Accu Cut from KREG and that thing works pretty good. I cant afford a $500 track saw so that was a good option.
I stead of carriage bolts you should look into elevator bolts. They have a large flat head and great for leveling feet. I use them on metal tables I make
someone else mentioned those recently, I gotta check em out
Q buen gabinete para guardar cosas ..me gustó mucho el vídeo, saludos de Sinaloa México
Gracias!
Awesome build! I got great tips!
I love to watch and learn from your videos. Thanks.
I love to make them and teach, so it's a good combo!
Nice job
Dud love how you do ypur cabnites they look really nice.
Really like the hardware handels you use. I'll be copying your stuff alot
Yes, i love those handles!
Another great video, and a nice functional yet aesthetically pleasing design. I know you used leftovers, but for people needing to buy materials it would be helpful to throw in a ballpark materials costs per build. Great work!
On my plans page and the blog I do mention the materials needed. I never talk cost because material cost varies so widely across the nation and world.
Thanks!
As always, great work Brad!
Thanks, Tyler!
Fantastic build, Brad! Also great tip on installing the hinges with the cabinet on the side!
Yeah, not sure how I missed that before now
Thanks for showing how and sharing that, well done
You're welcome!

Wow everybody has something they are good at and for you it's that. I feel if you try hard enough you can make anything out of wood
I agree! Woodworking is such a fun thing and you can make almost anything.
Nicely done. You have an awesome workshop my man 🤙🏽😎
Really nice work - well done! Looks great!
Thanks!
Why don't you use soft close door hinges and drawer slides. Did you edge band plywood?
Great build though. Looks great. Just finished one half of this project. Had a blast.
man, i really want to build this, but i have no tools or wood working skills. if something was off i would throw it away lol. sweet build!
Luv the look of tho's cabinets, great job brad 👍
Very Nice.
The best
Looks clean!
thanks!
Great project Brad!

Well done mate.👍👍 they look good.👍
Thanks, Chris!
Great vid, can you show how to Install them to the wall?
Beautiful looking cabinets...
Nice looking set of cabinets!
thanks!
