I have this watch in blue and the dial is stunning. It can look almost black depending on the light. In sunlight the blue is such a deep color than you can tell with pictures. I love mine
I bought the black one like a year ago. If you like simple, classic look, no complications its perfect. And still has a simple racing spirit in the font of writing and the case setting. But with its price rise now, its a bit overpriced ... but .. good for me :)
Love the form factor and step back into a more simple design language. But I have to say, I strangely detect a little GS/Seiko accent in the design language. Might be the angles on the lugs, or the dial color/textures, or maybe the indices? Not a bad thing. Will need to see these in the flesh to see if my impression is real
I have been wearing mine daily for 20 years. It's a caliber 5 from the early 2000s, like the one shown at the beginning. Mine loses about 12 seconds a day now. Never been serviced.
I hate the new bracelet. So generic and streamlined. The old one was amazing and so unique. It fit the aggressive sporty character of the watch much better.
Well done TAG 👏👏!! Timeless classic design and well proportioned case dimensions.

Finally a great design and perfect size. So tempted!
Just bought the date 39.

I really want the black one too but can I justify over $3k? May need to wait for the yearly bonus!
Simplicity is the best
Love the heritage and connection with Porsche with this watch. Very iconic. One of the nicest looking watches on the market.
Literally just purchased one of these. Good timing for this review 🤗⏱ Fabulous watches!
Just got my new aquaracer too
How's the accuracy?
@@mh-do3pe faultless so far.
Considering adding one to the collection. How’s the accuracy?
@@infamousmarcos accuracy is pretty superb. Would like a longer reserve though
Is there a yellow gold version, or rose gold only?
Anyone knows the lug to lug length of the new 39mm model?
It is 46mm.
With this price I think better tag Heuer than grand seiko
Not at all: grand seiko has exclusive movements

If they would drop the TAG, it would be a winner
Naw bro
What's the +- sec /day?
Up on this, I would also like to know

12 seconds
If Tag Heuer is "entry level", then what is Seiko?
Not even in the building, waiting outside to enter
Seiko does almost all levels - bum poor to somewhat filthy rich.
@@TrevorATX completely wrong ..get educated
What is the price range for these pieces please.
They start at $2700
Es fängt bei 25oo Eur an
I was hoping for a better movement at this price point
After owning several different models, the model is not a concern. A true work horse.
+/- 12 seconds a day.... what more do you want?
Gov. Any Bershear is presidential stuff!!
❤ it
COSC-certified?
Has it got a screw down crown?
No
@@antonybeardsley7862 I would prefer it had a screw down crown
At least this Carrera is using Sellita gearbox.
Old movement

Not for me
Old movement, not much power reserve. A waste.
Sie geht aber sehr genau
Boring, over priced
