i love how Rargh is frozen with 69 hp and just sits there not eating a lobster when he literally has nothing else he could have done with those ticks lol
Id like to see this where they ask chatGPT how they should kill bosses and they get 1 chance at it through most bosses. If they’re told to use a bronze dagger on Graardor then just rip their chances at getting a loot from graardor unless they go crazy with the skill strats
Loving the content! Would love to see a total level challenge (mini-series maybe?) without a timer. We would definitely get to see a lot of how you both strategize and pick and choose how many levels you want to put into each skill. 1st fight 100 2nd fight 150 3rd fight 200 4th fight 250
Hey man! What vid is it where u KO the s.... outta link?! I spoke to u about it in game once while donating but I can't remember wha challange it was...wanna watch it again please@@Rargh
@@NyRS-tg4mu I think the range damage alone on no armour would have been better than the mage splashes on no armour. Then if Rargh put armour back on to protect from the darts, you blood barrage again.
yall should do one where you get quized in the begining. Depending on how many u get right is how many times u get to kill a monster. 5 correct = 50 kills etc
Shame about not going for the 3 zombie varieties. But they're really rng based, on top of this challenge anyway. So maybe a good shout to have not gone for them. Like Link got those two items, but the odds were stacked against him. Although I'm only at this point rn, so maybe it works out F-ING HELL THE RNG LOL. For both of you, but for a specific one I just saw lol Yeah, that was a really good fight. Having more rng episodes every so often is a nice change (good option with you having a bad throat), but still really close as well
Well to be fair, even though the zombies are of the different combat styles, unfortunately they are still considered a single variety... So Rargh did the right thing.
I haven't watched the rest of the video yet but Rargh could have held on to the strange fruit as a way to cure poison, since it looks like Link is bringing poisoned darts to the fight
i love these videos they are really comforting to watch keep it up! i will say though i don’t understand why there are restrictions like no skilling or no bosses. it would’ve been way cooler to see you kill vetion and vardorvis as opposed to the same three vampire creatures. i get the idea behind the restrictions but in practice i feel like it just limits what gear/what strategies y’all can use and the most entertaining part of this is how y’all start to shape a strategy based off the drops you’re getting! i think stuff like clue scrolls, skilling with drops, and bosses would make these challenges even cooler than they already are and really push the boundaries of what strategies are viable. i still love the videos and will keep watching regardless, but i figured i’d give my two cents! thanks for making the content g
That's the point. It's supposed to limit what we do. We'd have both showed up with black d hide, no one would have tried magic, and if we allowed shops we probably would have purchased the same dragon weapons and or yew shortbow + arrows. I am sick of having the same gear in fights, and having rules like this allows us to have different gear in fights
Hope you had a great Christmas and a Happy New Years! Honestly wish I thought of this challenge sooner since if you two do it it'll be on a bit tight of a deadline. (Unless in January you could do it). The idea is that you each can only kill X amount of monsters, but they must be wearing a Christmas Hat (Or any other Christmas accessory). Just thought I'd post the idea. Like I said, if you can't then oh well. But still have a Happy New Years!
Wouldn't be worth it because it cures poison but doesn't provide immunity so he would have just gotten poisoned again and traded an inv space for 20 seconds of not being poisoned.
The double blind challenge. You have a wheel with 40 monsters 20 good monsters 20 bad monsters. You both spin the wheel and you don't tell the other what you got then you both choose to keep or swap without telling the other until your choice is made. If you both swap you both get your original monster if both keep you both keep your monster if one keeps and the other swaps you swap your monsters.
rargh this explanation was tough for me to understand bc i feel like the language of "type of monster" and "individual kill of a monster" were used as the word "monster" interchangably. I'm still on for it and I'm looking forward to the vid and i'm sure it'll become clear as we watch. Can't wait!
It would be cool to do a similar version to this, but you share the same letter roll and both of you get to pick from the same letter - but if you pick the same monster then neither of you get to do it
Hey I feel like shouldn’t yall have used the coins to get gear from shops? I feel like that might’ve spiced up the challenge unless I’m wrong making it kinda pointless cuz you’d just be aiming for higher valued gear to sell to buy better inslot gear but idk I LOVED this challenge but I just thought it (might) make a lil sense to use the coins yall got to get some gear like link could’ve got staff of water for barrage, and rargh could’ve filled plate body slot or some like that. It’s just a thought
Not sure if this comment would be useful at all, but here goes. I have been watching both of you guys for years. I now find myself watching or listening to the entire "gearing" section of the videos, but after the gear reveal i skip the fights entirely. I just find the actual fights boring. I did not use to, but there is only so many times I can watch basic pvp. I think it would be really cool for you to start molding challenges and rulesets around actually becoming better pkers. Now don't get me wrong, I suck at pking. I have never taken the time to learn it or improve and I just tank test when needed. I couldn't fight my out of a wet paper bag in pvp. Maybe thats why I feel uninterested in basic fights? I would love to see a challenge or series ( or many ) built around improving. You guys have been doing the basic fights for years and years. The series' kind of evolve the fights, but you guys never really get enough time to actually preform well with all the new stuff they unlock. An example would be: You pick a basic standard "loadout" for both people to start with. Then you both go pking in the wilderness. Upon a kill you get to pick a single item from that kill for your loadout for the final fight. You could pick weapons, armors, ammunition, food (maybe you get 5 of these or something), pots, etc. Maybe each death you downgrade your food that you use for pking a tier, every 5 deaths you lose one of the 10-15 item slots you get to keep for the final fight. Or you make a mini series built around LMS. You get both of your communities to come and fight you guys in LMS. You make items for fights cost a certain amount of points from LMS. You get 10 LMS matches per episode. Winning the fight between you guys gives you an extra game or 2 in LMS that week. That would allow you the opportunity to get an advantage, but to make full use of it you need to improve at PvP. or even something as simple as collabing with really good PvP RUclipsrs like torvesta, ditter, framed, and some of the insane less known streamers/youtubers. You guys spend your time collecting and get monster drops like you usually do... but when it comes down to the fight the insane pvpers use the loadout you created for them. You guys sit in a call either with your pvper or with each other and commentate. That way we get what you guys do best, but then we get to see the full potential of the loadouts you guys create. Like i said, maybe useful maybe not. I just find myself clicking/watching less and less and i think this might be why. I wish you both the best and hope you have wonderful holiday seasons.
Surprised Link went with Hill Giants and Hobgoblins. I get that H was really bad, but Hobgoblins in particular were completely useless. Literally the best thing they could have dropped him was 2 Water Runes (not counting a 1/350k RDT Dragon Spear). Harpie Bug Swarms, Highwaymen and H.A.M. Guards could've at least dropped something usable. Head Guards were also an option for a super not worth it yolo I guess.
What if alongside these types of challenges you can fill in a blank spot with a random item on a wheel? Except the wheel is like, mostly crap but with a few ok items in there. Like you get no body slot in the challenge, so at the end you spin a wheel and there’s like a hard leather body, iron black chain, shayzien body, etc. alongside an addy plate. Let’s blank slots get filled in with a bit of randomness, not super fight changing impactful, but makes sure getting lame rng in the challenge isn’t too detrimental.
Bad video idea: Budget fight caves, then we fight! Each of you try to beat the fight caves with the worst gear you can, once you beat the fight caves with a gear setup it becomes what the other person has to use for the fight.
Should do 10 kills of lets say 10 to 15 bosses who ever gets the most valuable drop after each 10 of boss gets to spin the randomizer but have it set at end game gear only... thatd be a rng but great fight
As a viewer I was immediately confused by the concept - how do the monster kills affect the pvp? I feel like most people would be turned off by this and click away (though I didn't, and enjoyed the video). I suggest more clearly explaining the concept behind the video either in the title or in the intro.

Old school "safeing is for noobs" mentality.
You guys have the best series that is taking the game and making it another fun game. I wish I had a friend to do this with
Challenge where you have ChatGPT tell you what you have to do
yes, yes and yes
Ooh this is solid
Ask it what weapons to kill a specific boss, cause gpt is gonna ask you to wear a bronze dagger to fight zulrah

3rd fight 200
4th fight 250
this, but combat can be only like 50% of the total lvl? 👀
Seeing some endgame content would be nice for once so like 500 1000 1500 2000, but I guess it doesn't justify the time spent xD

Or both, freeze and use darts. Make Rargh decide whether or not to wear armour.
