Yeah but also link may have thought some stuff rargh did was off limits. They did say no skilling, link for example got the full rings from a drop and gave up his grubby key because it required thieving to get into the room. Then rargh straight up crafts his rings and dhide which imo is more of "skilling" than opening a gate to a chest.
@@travwolfe101 the rules at the beginning were no resource gathering skills. They said at the beginning they could skill to process drops. Thieving is a resource gathering skill crafting is a processing skill.
Maybe because rargh lived in 05 for so long 😂 he's finally sick of the old content

Link could've gone to Gargoyles without a nosepeg.. use the stairs to go up from ground floor, then the agility shortcut from middle floor up to the top floor (infernal mages to nechryaels). Avoids the Aberrant Spectres entirely.

I have an idea for a PVP video if you're looking for one. It's a Drop Rate video where you and Link get to pick 10 items from 10 monsters (or more or less) and kill the monster the corresponding number of times to get that item. If you get the item before or on drop rate you can keep it and any other drops from that monster to use in the fight, but if you don't you can't use any of its drops at all.
It'd be fun to see if you'd rather go for high tier items to increase supply drops or go for "sure things" and try to get more common items. It's pretty similar to what Alonescape does except in PVP form.

Edit* Id also imagine you would set a limit on the amount of allowed kills too, just to eliminate a 20 hour long grind lol
Link can't use a grubby key because that requires thieving, but Rargh can fletch a bow that requires fletching? I'm so fkn lost.. Sounds like one person is following the rules and one person is breaking them, lol.
This is a good one. next challenge you guys should do changing gear every hour, but have it be completely randomised! like a wheel or something that rolls for each slot, could be interesting xD

I think a nice addition to these fights is like a "minimum gear" similar to how in some fights you get a full inventory of swordfish by default. Something like full mith with leather boots + leather gloves with a mith scimitar, amulet of accuracy and a cape. Or full studded / wizard hat+robe or some other low-level set. That way when one of you two go dry you arent completely outclassed by your opponent. Like in this episode instead of having no necklace rargh would be given an accuracy which while its less ideal and you want to upgrade it asap, you arent slotless in any fight. This prevents fights like one I saw a few weeks back where one of you couldnt get any leg drops and showed up way outclassed and the fight was horribly one-sided

Should do a challenge where yall start with full bronze Armour and bronze weapon and kill what yall feel yall can kill for a hour then move to Iron Armour and weapon and so forth until yall finish to dragon and then gather the loot and sell it and battle

Just had an idea for a PVP challenge;
Starting from an empty inventory and no gear, you have X hours (you decide length) to make money and buy your gear from the GE.
You can craft gear to sell, but you can't use it; only gear purchased on the GE can be used for combat or skilling (optional: Exempt generic tools with no quality levels such as knives?).
I'm curious to see how you'd handle this.

I’d like to see one where y’all have better gear! Like the option of a lightbearer, or imbued b ring, archers ring, seers ring, and the option of a zenyte necklace! Then challenge for the rest of your gear slots. It would make the pvp fights that much more intense
How cool would it be if you guys didn't reveal gear and inv to each other before the fight? Run into each other from out of sight and go from there.

If rules felt unclear you didn’t watch the intro 🤷♂️ it was pretty clear you could use artisan skills such as crafting and smithing, but not gathering skills such as woodcutting, mining, thieving, etc

video idea- kill a monster for the drop rate of a particular item for each slot. if you get it within the drop rate you keep or sabotage the opponent. example: goblin for a bronze dagger on drop rate or going for raids drop rate for a purple

You guys should do something like 1k tiles to spend, then we fight. No time limit, it ends when your tiles reach 0. Any house teles are good. Rune pic, rune axe, 250 coins to start

When are you two going to start bringing actual pkers into the mix. Do a long term series with people who can.. no hate actually pvp good content and you can both learn.
Isn't that the charm of this series, though? They're supposed to be kind of shit at PvP. Wouldn't be the same if they were fighting tribid gear 1 tick switches and all that shit. Everyone's entitled to their own opinion, but that idea personally doesn't interest me at all.

They do work at LMS. Rargh usually gets a few wins even. They're good enough to not lose to stupid things, while also not being super sweaty at pvp. It's a really nice balance.
