Idea for you.. auction for gear but that gear cannot be brought to pvp, can only be used for a 2-4 hour pvm session. The items you get from pvm can be brought to pvp. If you get an upgrade item from your auction, you have the choice to use it for pvm to help get better gear but if you do then you can’t bring that item to pvp.
21:08 he seemed unsure what armor to camp. Honestly I’d say his best bet was freeze and walk under to off tick their attacks. Then when he had pid he could one tick ice barrage with ahrims and put his bandos back on by the time the other attacked. Lot more sweaty but woulda been brutal.
@Razorly but doing an endgame raid to get a level 60 item is wild. And that lvl 60 item spec being that op is equally crazy. I could see if it was a drop from a high level slayer mob or locked behind a master quest line, and then with an upgrade drop to lvl 70-75 from raids 1 being what allowed it to hit like it does currently being able to hit 82 as accurately as d claws are is poor game balance, even thought the price is 90+m you just make it your +1 and you can still get into the upper 70s with a low risk pk setup.

But on top of the poor item balance there is the RNG hit system & poor combat mechanics which makes osrs generally an an extremely poorly designed game for vsing other players competitively. So I think it makes sense for them to not fuss about pvp balance too much and focus on improving & expanding the better parts of osrs for why most people play.
This is a good video to show that 99 matters a lot more then gear. Granted both had bad gear setup but 1 was a little better off then the other and it was actually a pretty even fight.

i havent really watched since rargh went full time but is there rules on these fights or is it anything goes? like link could have far casted rargh the entire fight since venator bow on longrange is only 7 tiles there was also no prayer flicking and rargh also didnt use augery and flick back to rigour seemed so weird lmao
Pvp Challenge Idea: You each spin a wheel to determine which combat style you get to use with a specific weapon locked in. You do not know which style the other is bringing to the fight. You then each have 100M to spend on gear BUT you will need to box/deathmatch to lock in the slot. E.g. Link chooses to box Rargh for the chest slot but loses. Rargh gets to bring his chest slot and Link does not. If you want to bring a spec weapon, you will need to win the box/deathmatch to lock in the spec weapon slot. You then have a surprise fight with whatever gear slots you won using the style you spun.
I was thinking it would be interesting to see a challenge where you're locked to using a bronze dagger until the fight. e.g you can go bossing but you have to poke like Graador with a dagger.

This challenge was basically rigged for whoever got the kodai. There were 4 pieces of gear that give hefty melee and range defense (helm, chestplate, legs, shield), but only one that offered notable magic defense (chainskirt). Even if Rargh had gotten the chainskirt I don't think it would have been enough to even the odds of the fight. The eternal boots should have been swapped for a Karil's body in the auction lineup imo. Good premise for a challenge but the item lineups need more consideration.

The fact that a lvl 60 item drops from a raid and cost 90+ mil still is mind boggling to me. I liked em better from tormented demons.
